The room was very clean and tidied with great care. It was quite comfortable to live in. The staff was very considerate and friendly. The nearby yoga classes, restaurants, and coffee shops are all great! It’s a great place for a relaxing vacation!

I had a very comfortable stay here. I originally was only going to stay a few nights but extended to a week and didn't regret it at all. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The AC is strong and quiet and will keep everything as cool as you like even in the middle of the day and the shower is hot whenever you need. If you are a light sleeper, book a room at the back of the building to avoid some of the street noise out front. This didn't bother me, but it could effect some people.The breakfast is quite sizeable with eggs, ham, bacon, toast, fresh fruit, juice, and tea or coffee. Or you can choose other options including Thai food on their menu. I always left breakfast quite full.The location is easily walkable with a convenience store right around the corner and a variety of excellent and affordable restaurants, cafes and other entertainment within a 5 minute walk. Street food is available in the area every night as well. The Metro station is about 10 minutes away, but likely too far for most to comfortably carry a suitcase during a hot day.The best part of this hotel though, is the people. They are always so attentive and kind to their guests. One day I felt a bit ill and didn't come down to breakfast. They noticed and in the early afternoon came to check on me and bring me fresh fruit. They will always make sure you are taken care of in every way and I would certainly book here again. Great hotel with excellent service.

We stayed three days and we loved the experience at the August Residence Hotel for its location, tranquility but, above all, for the kindness with which the staff treated us. They were very attentive to us to help us on the different trips and routes, in addition to advising us and being very detailed. We would definitely return!

This place is a true hidden gem!Originally, I had booked another hotel but had to cancel when I arrived as it was an absolute mess. August Residence was around the location I wanted to be so I headed straight there, with very low expectations.To say I was pleasantly surprised is to say nothing of how lovely the hotel was from the moment I walked in. The property immediately felt safe, peaceful and very well-run. The hosts were friendly and efficient, the room - spacious, spotlessly clean and charming, with a comfortable bed. The location is about 5-10 minutes walk off the main Sukhumvit road, with BTS, Emsphere, 7/11, restaurants and shopping easily accessible. I spent three nights at August Residence, and absolutely loved it. Would highly recommend and stay again!

Very nice place with a friendly vibe. They treat guests like family. I stayed for six nights, and after the first morning, the staff remembered how I like my coffee, toast, juice etc and they would serve it that way on their own without me having to tell them. I also have a dietary restriction (vegetarian), and they tried their best to feed me a different vegetarian dish every morning (of course Thai food, yum)! The rooms was immaculately clean, with good linens, mattress, and decent but basic furniture. This place had more of a family run Bed & Breakfast feel than a hotel in the metropolis full of tourists and businesses. I'm definitely staying here whenever I'm in Bangkok next! :)

Such warm and lovely hosts. Very kind to us. You can tell there is much pride being taken in caring for the property, which is immaculate and spacious.We were treated to a very yummy Thai breakfast and staff were so attentive. Brilliant rooms with modern TV and air con. Close to everything you need. THE place to stay in Bangkok.

Very small hotel, very warm staff that are nice to talk with. They take the time for you, quiet hotel. very very cute to have been here with my girlfriend. only negative thing is that it is 10-15 walk to a BTS station.

It was an amazing experience staying at this hotel. When I woke up, the hosts were very warm and welcoming asking me what I wanted for breakfast and making it. I could choose between a Thai, Chinese or continental breakfast. The family were always very positive, full of energy and fun. They were like a family away from home. They were very helpful in terms of suggesting what to do when in Bangkok, tours etcThe rooms were very spacious, comfortable and clean and I was well looked after. Well worth it for the price. I can't recommend this hotel enough.

This hotel is perfect for business people. We enjoyed our stay immensely. It is a boutique hotel that felt very unique in many ways.The room was spotless, the shower was great. We stayed at Rembrandt Hotel night before and the shower was barely spraying water. We enjoyed complimentary water.Sam at reception put together a tour plan with all the times for the events, cost and schedule tailored specifically for us, had two print outs ready so we could take it and use it all day. Room service brought anything needed quickly to our room.They serve American and Thai breakfast so if you are omelette and coffee type of guy, this place is for you. Breakfast is not fancy but perfectly good enough if you want to have quick - healthy bite and move on.One negative note is the AC in our room. AC blower was positioned in a way that it was blowing towards one of the beds.Everything else was great and I would definitely stay here next time I am in Bangkok.
