Having been unable to secure a room at Ko Phayam, I found myself lodging for two nights in downtown Ranong, as suggested by a travel guide and confirmed through online research. The accommodations proved reasonable, albeit slightly dated yet passable. The room boasted a separate shower with a water heater, alongside a toilet, and even a walk-in closet. Its ambiance resembled that of a locale one might encounter in Chiang Mai.Upon my early arrival, I had phoned ahead, and the front desk staff, notably friendly and accommodating, swiftly attended to my needs. A fellow staff member graciously assisted me with my luggage, further enhancing the welcoming atmosphere. For budget-conscious travelers, I would wholeheartedly endorse this establishment.Convenient amenities abounded nearby, with a decent café nestled around the corner by the police station, offering quality coffee. Additionally, a 7-Eleven and a nearby drugstore provided added convenience. For postal needs, the post office lay a manageable 800 meters away, a pleasant stroll when weather permits. At the nearby intersection, a designated parking area for motorbike taxis catered to solo travelers seeking transportation options. Adjacent to it, a lady with a sidecar awaited, providing further transport possibilities for those with companions or luggage in tow.

Reserve in advance I asked if there was a Jack Russell dog, would they accept it? They said they would accept it, so we had reserved it for 2 nights. When we arrived in front of the counter, He shook his face at us, confused as to what was going on. But he told me his name. It was exactly as agreed upon and reserved. But came to tell us to cancel saying they don't accept dogs. Oh, and will accept reservations for What kind of business should I do that should be honest and take care of the employees I hire and spend some money on? Otherwise it will all be destroyed. It indicates a poor business management system. So will you be able to take care of customers like this? There are many good mattresses in Ranong. But if here just the booking arrangement is still like this Better to sleep somewhere else. Worse hotel I ever met. I'm traveling in many province in Thailand and many countries but this is worse unacceptable and shame.
