Really great bar!! The owner Poa is a very good host and makes great drinks that are very fairly priced. He also tells a lot about the island and takes care of all the guests. We felt comfortable and definitely recommend at least one visit during a Payam stay. Rooms are also available. We were only guests in the bar.

We spend 2 weeks at the shadow and had an amazing time! Por, the owner is adorable and a super host! I felt that he new what each Guest was needing for the perfect holidays and he would provide (if possible) or give ideas or put you in the right direction. We really felt at home and a little family with the rest of the guest.The rooms are simple but together, super clean, all working and with pretty details!! (Por is an artist)Is not by the beach, but there is one 5min walk. And since is in the middle of the island It was easy to get everywhere, even walking, wich we did.And on top of all there is a great pool table, drinks and music taste!!Hope to be back one day🫶

We stopped by The Shadow for a drink on our first night on Koh Phayam. Although we didn't stay in the rooms there, we came back several times throughout our trip. Por is a wonderful host and friend. He is very knowledgeable about the island...ask him about the pythons! He rented us a scooter for a week, and was super kind to drop us off at the pier when it was time to go. Great drinks, awesome music, and good vibes at The Shadow. I Cant' say enough good things, you just have to go and see for yourself!!Cant wait to come back and visit you Por! It always suprises me how friendly Mr. Por welcomes his guests.Rooms are clean and location is good - theres a only short path to everywhere. Motorbikes are available for guests to rent.Shadow house is in the middle of jungle so you can wake up to the birds singing.There is no restaurant in the shadow house, but Por seems to enjoy hosting dinner parties with good drinks. We had really good seafood bbq one night and the other he made mussaman curry. It was the best mussaman curry i have ever eaten.Por speaks really good english and he is always helping his guests with transportation and such.

The welcome is remarkably kind. The hotel speaks English very well, is interested in classical music. Very attentive to our requests, in short. Perfect. The rooms are simple but comfortable, surrounded by nature. Bungalows are being prepared. Everything is made "in house"

I have traveled a lot in Thailand but Koh Phayam is something very special for me. I really enjoyed my time at Shadow because the owner, Por, is a wonderful host and always looks after the well-being of his guests. The clean rooms are built in a natural style and surrounded by trees. Due to the design, the rooms are wonderfully cool, especially at night, and you can sleep well despite the tropical climate. The mattresses are also very comfortable. The beach as well as some restaurants and a supermarket can be reached quickly on foot. On my next trip to Thailand I will definitely come back and enjoy Por's wonderful cocktails at the in-house bar.

Phi Po, the owner of the accommodation Cute, good-natured Take care of the technician very well. The accommodation is clean, comfortable outside, not hot, not expensive. P'Por cooks very delicious food, very satisfying. Because I'm normally a picky eater. The best cocktails here. You don't have to worry about wearing alcohol. This Long Island menu is something you know about. Sleep well. It's so delicious you'll forget you're drunk.If you come to Koh Phayam, you must come here. If you don't come, it's considered a lost trip.

a very nice place to relax and have a drink, the cat and the dog who live there are adorable. the host is very friendly and he makes the best cocktails on the island, try the shadow cocktail, specialty of the regions, and we could even borrow his kitchen to make a European meal all together :)))

Very nice place!!! The cocktails are amazing!! The owner is a cool guy!! The also have 4 accomodation for 500 bath. Not too far from the beach.
