I would like to thank Robert for being a very lovely host. I was greeted at my doorstep. He is a very friendly and lovely chap. The room was huge and the bed was amazing, it belongs to a 5 star hotel. The location is excellent, you're only 5 minutes away from the restaurants, pier, beach, bar, dive centres and 7-11. The maintenance team was on the ball.

The location of this hotel in my opinion is quite good, because it allows you to quickly take your luggage from the port and thus notice that you can move around the entire island with it. In addition, it has many services nearby.It also has motorcycles for rent.As for the images, they do not show the reality of the establishment. The reception leaves a lot to be desired, disorganized, with a lot of furniture, including mattresses, and access to the rooms is very narrow with a very steep staircase and small steps.Once in the room, the door lets in a lot of noise and light and the door that separates the bathroom is glass, so a lot of light enters the room from early on due to the bathroom window.The bathroom has two small mirrors, at a very low height and in the shower two and a half drops fall slightly, so showering is very slow.They don't come to clean the room unless you tell them and you have to go ask for both toilet paper and soap if they run out.It is true that the price of the island is high compared to other areas of Thailand, but the price of the hotel does not correspond to the low qualities it offers.The attention of the owners is very close.

This is my favourite place I have stayed in Thailand - the owners are so friendly and helpful, the rooms are very clean & had a flatscreen smart tv. We got our clothes washed by the hotel & they have never been cleaner, the bike rental place that is part of it also was 10/10. We had never drove scooters before and they offered to teach us & even went with us on our first trip to make sure we got there safely l! Couldn’t recommend it more. Thank you!

The bed was very comfortable ❤️The owner is very cute. Come alone, you won't be lonely at all.If you want anything, you can ask and recommend. They're all available for rent.Motorcycles, tours around the island, laundry, walkable from the pier.Easy to walk to find food.Great value, good mattress, quiet at night, good location for food and to explore wake up by bird & chicken voices. The host is so friendly I never get bored traveling alone!

Unfortunately we are not satisfied. Dark rooms, like a basement or bunker. A small window and little artificial light. Tightly. In the morning you can hear all the noises, roosters crowing and so on from 4 am. Probably because of all the gaps, including the one in the front door. Air conditioning set with a timer turns off every 10 minutes at night. We tried to set it up ourselves because it was terrible, but it didn't work. We notified the owner but she did not react. They probably want to save on the electricity bill because they didn't turn on the fridge.

We really enjoyed our stay in AVA Guesthouse. The hosts were really friendly and lovely and always helped us when we had any questions. The room was really clean and big. There is an air conditioning and TV in the room so that you can relax there really well. We can only recommend the place, especially because the traffic is not so loud and you can easily walk to the next Seven Eleven or Beach. You also have many possibilities to go to different restaurants in only a few minutes⭐️

LESS THAN 5 MINUTE WALK FROM FERRY WITH HEAVY BAGS. NO NEED FOR TRANSPORT.After the 2 hour ferry crossing from Koh Samui we disembarked through complete chaos on the old wooden pier and out into the narrow streets of the town. Right turn to the first left and up the slope for about 150m to the Guesthouse. Perfect.We were booked in and shown up to our room, 20, on the first floor accessed via a staircase at the end of the ground floor corridor. We are the street end bar one room so saved any road noise if it exists.The room has a lounge area, a large, comfy double/king sized bed with a big internet TV on a unit at the base of the bed, Tea gear, a big fridge with shelves above and a hanging area with bars but no hangers. Maybe they are supplied upon request.Next was the bathroom with the loo opposite the door, a fancy shell like sink with pop up plug and the shower area. Strangely the shower is on the outer wall, where the water comes in through the outside wall rather than on the wall at the back of the cubicle.The whole room works and the shower does a good job but the room needs a good makeover.In the main area there are plenty of power sockets and wall lights as well as some funky lights in the lounge/bedroom divideThe aircon worked well and was quiet.At the main building end of the communal corridor is a lounging area with a swing chair and likewise on ground floor.The staff were brilliant throughout our visit.One point of note:- The metsl stairs up to 1st floor have normal risers but the treads are short, front to back, so care needed coming down.There are gaps around the front door and I suggest you spray Deet into the gap beteern tne door and frame to keep the mozzies out.The lights on tne landi g do not go off during the night so there is some seepage in to the room and it never gets pitch black.All in all a great place to stay in a great location.

Does the motorcycle rental next door belong to the hostel? In this case, this is my review:The owner made up the prices depending on who you are. Furthermore, when I returned the motorcycle he charged me 500 Baht for a tiny scratch and wanted to charge me more for a scratch that was already there (luckily he had a video). I also had to change the motorcycle 3 times because all the ones they gave me were defective (one did not close the trunk, another did not turn the key and another skidded in every corner. ZERO RECOMMENDED

We had a room with a balcony. When we arrived, the shower and the large mirror had not been cleaned (there were still hairs and such from previous guests). There was very little pressure in the shower and the bathroom is very small. The bed was comfortable and the sheets were clean. The view from the balcony was nice (view of a beautiful tree), we could sometimes see squirrels there. There is a TV (where you can connect to Netflix), a large fridge, a kettle, two cups but only one spoon. No tea, no coffee. We stayed 7 nights and cleaning was only done once (at our request). water bottles were not replaced.To access the upper floor there is a very steep staircase. No elevator.The female staff is friendly.There is no restaurant in the hotel but there are plenty nearby.

I stayed one nightGood location, nice and kind staffBut that doesn't change the horrible room I had which is bursting with mosquitoes and cobwebs in every cornerIn addition, I came back from going out in the evening, went into the room to go to sleep, suddenly saw a huge spider killing him and went to the reception to change rooms without an answer, not even on the phonereturns to the room after a few minutes and suddenly sees another huge spider that looks venomous also kills it and begins to scan the room to check that there are no more spiders in the scan I found one more spider not the size of the others but also largeGoing back to sleep scared in the mountains and among the worst nights I had on vacation
