Hotel Name: Peace resortVisited on: End of September 2024Location: 📍 Near Fisherman’s village(few minutes away by bike, 20 mins away walking on main road, around 10 mins if you walk on the beach to the next resort and then there’s a walking road to the village)Room:🛏️ Type: Superior Villa with bathtub and shower🛀 Amenities: Bathtub, shower, minibar, hairdryer, safe🧼 Cleanliness: The whole resort and the rooms are kept very clean and neatFacilities:🏊 Pool: was my least favorite place, quite small and always crowded🍽️ Breakfast: Buffet was good, from Thai to sweet European and fresh egg bar, everything was there +🧘♂️ Spa/Gym: Cozy spa and massage there was great, and good AC. It’s also possible to get a massage by the pool. There’s a small gym with mostly cardio equipment and dumbbells but it’s clean and empty ☺️ (which for me was a good thing).Service:👨💼 Staff: Very friendly, good service at the restaurant. Cleaning staff did a great job. Reception helped us booking a taxi and ferry to Phangan and also let us stay in the room 20 minutes after checkout time.🕒 Check-in/Check-out: was efficient but its outside and only fans are available (no AC), so if you need to wait, the heat quickly gets unbearable.Price: 💵 Slightly overpricedPros:✅ Clean and modern minimalistic rooms; nice resort territory; has spa, gym, small salon, yoga, cooking classes and water fitness classesand possibility to book romantic dinner by the beach; breakfast is good; clean beach and nice restaurant view; really peaceful atmosphere, very nice coconut smelling shampoo was provided and it made my dry hair silky smooth.Cons:❌No complete blackout curtains. Didn’t reply to my initial request of choosing the location of the villa and were placed on the outskirts. Two days out of three they were cutting trees very loudly just next to our villa and that was disturbing + there was a huge bee 🐝 hive in a tree and we weren’t notified and ran into it at night.Found an almost dead big cockroach in the bathroom ones, but they send someone to spray there afterwards.We had issues with closing the safe and had to call several times for someone to come and show us how to use it because the phone instructions were not clear, but I don’t understand why it was so hard to just send someone right away.Hairdryer is really weak and low quality, you need to use the hottest setting to get the hair at least a bit dry (even fine hair like mine) and you can feel how it gets damaged more than dry.Music in the bar in the evening was not good.Overall: ⭐ Rating 4 out of 5Would I recommend? Yes

Peace Hotel – A paradise with a bungalow experienceI had the pleasure of spending a few days with my wife in one of the bungalows at the Peace Hotel and can highly recommend it. The hotel undoubtedly deserves the highest rating!Accommodation: The bungalows are beautifully designed, with great attention to detail. They offer the highest level of privacy and comfort. The rooms are spacious, clean and modernly equipped. I was particularly impressed by the cozy terrace, from which you can enjoy a fantastic view of nature.**Location**: The hotel is located in a quiet and idyllic setting, perfect for relaxation. Still, it's close enough to sights or activities that you'll never get bored. The beach is just a short walk away, making it ideal for beach lovers.**Service**: The service was absolutely first class. The staff is friendly, attentive and always tried to accommodate our every wish. Every member of staff was very professional and warm, which made the stay particularly pleasant.**Food**: The food at the Peace Hotel was excellent. The breakfast buffet offered a wide selection of fresh, local and international dishes. Dinner in the hotel's own restaurant was also a real highlight - the regional specialties in particular are highly recommended.**Facilities**: The hotel offers numerous amenities such as a beautiful pool area, spa services and various leisure options. There's also a great selection of activities including yoga, guided hikes and water sports.**Conclusion**: The Peace Hotel with its bungalows is the perfect place for a break from everyday life. It combines luxury, nature and first-class service in a way that guarantees a relaxing and unforgettable stay. I would come back at any time and can only recommend it to anyone looking for relaxation.

This was our first trip to Thailand and our 2nd location during our travels. So far we’ve loved the Peace Resort the most. The pool side Villas for a group of 4 was perfect. Loved the facilities, literally on the beach but not beach facing, lots of privacy, clean and neat with unexpected extras/amenities. I would chose this resort again in a heartbeat. Really worth the money spent.

Beautiful resort. The staff was so friendly. Food was good, ocean view was amazing. Nice beach. More quiet than Chaweng beach area. Can’t say enough. Fisherman’s Village is a delight with quaint restaurants and bars and a short distance from the resort. Will come|Back to Peace Resort again. 5-stars!

I love the hotel and am there for the second time. Great rooms, nice staff. Only the pool could be colder, yesterday it was 33 degrees and not refreshing at all. Breakfast is ok, hardly any variety.

We stayed at this very nice resort in August. We were completely satisfied, starting with breakfast, there was something for everyone. Fresh fruit, muesli, juices, waffles... and, if desired, eggs in different varieties every day. The rooms are really modern and are a nice size, although there is no wardrobe but that didn't bother us, we already knew it from other hotels. The hotel is located directly on the beach with basket-grain sand, but also directly on the main street, which is not ideal. All in all a successful holiday with a clear recommendation for the hotel.

Hotel Review: Peace Resort Hotel – Pool Villa with Sea ViewWe stayed for 8 days in a private pool villa with a sea view at the Peace Resort Hotel. The price is 800 Swiss Francs per night, which we found to be extremely overpriced considering the condition of the villa. The entire infrastructure, both inside and outside, is quite outdated and shows significant signs of wear.Room and Amenities: The pool villa offers a beautiful view of the sea and a private pool, but the furniture inside and outside is old and worn. For such a high price, we expected a more modern and better-maintained setup.Cleanliness: Housekeeping was diligent and thorough, ensuring the villa stayed clean throughout our stay. The private pool was also regularly cleaned and checked, which was a positive aspect.Service: The service was friendly and courteous. The staff was polite, often smiling, greeting guests, and expressing gratitude. The best place ever!! |Bungalow we had was opposite our daughters which was requested and ideal- staff incredible- resort beautiful and on beach front ! |Only minor issue was cost of drink - to be fair it was the price of a drink in Ireland - €9 for a gin and tonic .. bar that superb experience!!

Extremely friendly staff who are always polite and courteous, always have a smile on their face and are ready to answer any questions.The rooms are very clean and the room service leaves the bungalows sparkling clean.Breakfast is great. There is enough choice - for both sweet and savory tastes. Food and drinks at the buffet are refilled extremely quickly.Unfortunately you're a bit out of the way... and it takes about 15-20 minutes to get to the next larger market. But for those who are good on foot it shouldn't be an obstacle - as it means you live in a nice quiet place and away from the crowds.All in all, an absolute recommendation!

To be honest, I’m quite disappointed by a couple of things. To start: The restaurant is the biggest disappointment. Service is poor, and the food was a joke. When you sit down it takes ages for the waiter to pick up your order. Eventually, we got our pizza, which is just a ready-made frozen product warmed-up. The ceasar salad contained just 5 leaves of lettuce with some pre-cooked chicken from the day before . I know I am in Thailand, but then don’t offer this kind of food. For everything in the restaurant you pay four times the prices outside of the hotel. That’s a disgrace. So I highly advise you to get your food somewhere else during youth stay. Much better and cheaper!Then we tried out the gym. Airco was broken or something, so it was 33 degrees inside. (They should’ve closed it then…) You have a very small towel at your disposal, which is not convenient and hygienic at all. To top it off they provide incredibly small water containers with straws you can barely drink out off.They are picky when it comes to water anyways: You get a (warm) bottle a day, which they even don’t put in the fridge for you. You can pay for a big bottle, which is around 65 baht. I mean, come on, really..Breakfast has a wide variety of food, which is good I think. But, for example, the yoghurt comes in square glass containers, which makes emptying them a job on its own. I can imagine all the food waste because of it. Please don’t do this. Oh and by the way, the breakfast area is so hot (September), it’s not even funny. The staff is heavily sweating as well. It’s almost unbearable to eat out there.When we checked out there were some hidden costs and fees added to our bill. So that was not great either.What’s good is the pool and the view fromthe deck. The rooms are nice as well. But from our experience, we don’t really understand the raving reviews about this hotel.
