In addition to the fact that there is no air conditioning, there is no hot water in the shower and this is not written when orderingThe bedding is not clean, there are many mosquitoes and ants outsideBesides it being close to Half Moon there is nothing good there

I absolutely cannot understand the bad comments from a few years ago, some of which I read as of today. The room was very clean and well maintained, as was the toilet and “mini terrace”. In addition, the owners are super nice, the husband and wife are simply perfect, just like the team! We are still very satisfied and can honestly only recommend it. My girlfriend and I got a lot of tips from the man that gave us a fantastic insight into Koh Pha-ngan. Thank you very much again for everything.Ps: you can write an email when you read it! Thanks for all!

I came to Phangan to learn Muay Thai for a month, but didn't want to stay on site at a gym. I wanted a simple room where I could rest well. Seagate provided exactly that.The owners/staff are friendly, welcoming and helpful with information or requests. The room was perfect for my needs and in a great location, close to the pier and various food/market areas (Phangan food court, Pantip market, Saturday market), though the food at the resort is delicious and well priced. The resort is on a nice quiet beach.The room had great AC to keep me cool at night and the mattress was nice and firm. I really enjoyed my stay and look forward to returning.

tap water smells like sewage, i had to buy gallons of water to even wash my feet, its impossible to stand the smell after you run it for 4 seconds. this was the most disturbing fact even though its a budget hotel. no toilet paper or shampoo etc, which i was not expecting either but just to warn. sheets have lots of stains /of blood, dirt etc.beach has nice view but has a stony ground and the sea level is at the ankle, also too hot which is not a good place to swim at all.owners are not the nicest but act like they are one. service quality is poor. you dont have to ask them any favor, they will reject.

Different types of bungalows depending on the expense one wants to bear. Some basic with fan and cold water, others with air conditioner and hot water. Room cleaning also on request, friendly and discreet staff. Helpful and friendly owners, a source of really useful information, you can book motorbikes to get around the island. Excellent food, typical Thai, also suitable for vegetarians and vegans on request. The location is great, on the beach and a 10 minute walk from Thong Sala town centre. What I really liked was the garden, extremely well-kept, plants, flowers, butterflies, birds singing, a regenerating place.

Very cheap price, $10 per night..BUT: no airco, no hot water, no free water bottles, no little fridge / mini bar, no safe, no curtains..No hotline.. I left my keys inside and tried to get help at 22:00… no reply, no reception…

The complex is super close to the beach. Every morning you get coffee, tea and bananas. The people there were nice and we were even offered a new fan because the other one was older. Great for relaxing on the beach, we were actually alone on the beach most of the time so it was very quiet. With the scooter you can get to restaurants, shopping, etc. in just a few minutes :)Would book it again

We stayed at Sea Gate Beach Resort for almost 10 days in total. From here you could quickly get to ThongSala - it had its own beach and if you had any questions or organized ferries and taxis, you could arrange this from the resort at no extra charge.

Very nice place by the sea. The owners are friendly and the bungalow was basic but nice. I would have appreciated a nicer blanket, but I was satisfied as it’s a budget room in Thailand. Property is lovely, quiet and very relaxing. There’s a small beach and you’re just a short motorbike away other beaches on the island. I came here for a night before a longer stay I had booked at a resort, but would have happily stayed longer!

Beautiful location, pleasant staff.The only downside is that the water in the shower and tap smells very strongly of sewage... a bit disgusting to take the shower with yellow water...

Patrick, their wife and their staff were super helpful and accommodating! Sea gate is nestled right at the beach and the atmosphere is super relaxing and welcoming! I’ve read through some of the reviews and all I can say is that people have forgotten that their part of nature and living in it requires us to be adaptable. I throughly enjoyed my stay at sea gate and wish it wasn’t all booked out.

Nice, clean and quite place. Owner helped us and we could stay two more nights (as there was storm) even he was booked. We like to sit on veranda and eat fruits with coffe.
