Great place to stay, staff are super sweet. They helped us deal with a cockroach that had gotten into our room because we were a bunch of chickens that couldn't do it ourselves (the room was super clean, please don't take this as a sign that they weren't. These things can happen when staying in a forest). They also helped us with booking a day trip to the lake and calling someone to bring us to the bus station when we were leaving.Breakfast was great as well, was slightly different each morning so there was some variety.Also nice and close to the main area where the restaurants and things are, so easy to walk around even though the town is small in general.River was really low while we were there so obviously weren't able to float around like was shown in the photos but we were there during dry season so that was to be expected.

Very nice hotel and a perfect base to discover the real southern Thailand! You are in a sparsely populated area, so don't be alarmed if you encounter a monkey on your way to breakfast. If you are there in the rainy season you will hear the occasional frog and it takes some getting used to. But the staff and food are fantastic!

We were lucky that we were in the rear lodge with our balcony facing the river, otherwise you would be sitting next to a road.We could see the monkeys playing in the water and trees in front of us. In the morning they came very close, they sat on our lodge and balcony. So a bit of a shock; keeping doors and windows closed is not unnecessary.The location has mixed feelings. Very nice, but for activities you have to travel at least an hour; a little less so.You don't have to expect much from breakfast and you choose from a menu.In addition to monkeys, there are a lot of salamanders.

Quite nice hotel overall. Rooms 3/5. There was only one free socket in the entire room, including the bathroom, it was very weird. Internet connection was horrible, interruptions were happening all the time, and when not, it was very slow. The location was very nice, everything was elevated. River is next to the hotel. Good restaurant, good service, clean everywhere. Last thing worth mentioning - the fan, located in the room, was too loud to use at night. Because of that, it was stuffy and night

Quant bungalows perched on the bank of the river in the centre of town. Thai and western dishes. Free WiFi. Air con some rooms. Leisure activities. Short walk to the national park entrance.
