Three tree hotel

The hotel is not brand new, nor is the swimming pool which is also quite small. But what matters is that we liked it a lot, we found it very comfortable. The restaurant on the beach is also excellent and offers lots of choice. It is located in the central eastern part of the island, therefore quite far from both the pier and the airport. On the other hand, when you get off the ferry, the taxi service of the same company takes those who have used the ferry to any part of the island for 150 baht, while to reach the airport the hotel has an agreement for 600 baht.

Not bad for couples or youths but not good for families compared to other resorts we've been. We've got an old room with no wardrobe, the type of interior design/furniture is not practical and there were ants everywhere..as well on the bed. Would recommend some renovations outside the beach bar and restaurant as well, mostly due to little kids safety..some fences and playground with swings would be nice, if of course there is interest to become more family friendly resort.The beach is full of sea grass, rocks and crabs, so you cant really swim and enjoy it..the depth of the sea was very low all the time. It is good thou you can get a sup or kayak for free.The food, service and the staff are very nice and proffesional, so 5 stars to them🙏💙

Overall, you can enjoy it on a clean and private beach!The beach is very wide, so it would be great to come with kids just up to your knees!Kayaks, paddleboards, and life jackets are all available for free.The cost-effectiveness was very good and the restaurant it was located in was also delicious.There are a lot of ants, but I guess this can't be helped.They give me souvenirs and I only take away really good memories.

Right next to the property is a beautiful temple, and the Grandmother and Grandfather Stone are within walking distance. We stayed for seven nights, and upon arrival, we noticed the air conditioning was leaking, but it was immediately repaired. Unfortunately, we experienced a power outage that night due to a storm, lasting several hours. To compensate for this, the hotel, which was not at fault, offered us free breakfast for the remaining days and a small gift (chips, peanuts, and drinks). The breakfast was delicious and to our taste. The hotel has direct beach access with a stunning view; However, swimming is not ideal due to the many corals. You can also borrow a canoe for free. The pool was a highlight, although the green artificial grass around it has aged and no longer looks appealing. Plenty of loungers are available, and they even provide towels for the beach. It would be helpful to receive all the information, like the Wi-Fi password and beach towel availability, directly at check-in. We discovered much through chance and inquiry. The room was adequately sized, and the bed was very firm (a positive for those who prefer it). Even if you don’t opt ​​for daily room cleaning, you still receive daily supplies of water, toilet paper, and coffee outside your door. Excellent!We also used the laundry service but wouldn’t recommend it, as our clothes came back fuzzy and not completely clean. We have had better experiences with laundry services in Thailand. Despite this, we would definitely come back.The location was great, located in Lamai. We learned a lot by chance and by asking. The room was a decent size and the bed was very firm (certainly a plus for those who like that). Even if you don't use housekeeping every day, you still get water, toilet paper and coffee powder placed in front of your room every day. TOP!We also used the laundry facility, but wouldn't recommend it as the clothes came back fluffy and not completely clean. We had better experiences in this regard in Thailand. Nevertheless we would come back.

If you are looking for a place to relax with good value for money in Koh Samui, perhaps Lamai is a good option. And the Three Tree Hotel is also in your sights.The bed was comfortable and the view from the room was incredible. A swimming pool facing the infinity of a crystal clear sea with a great sunset. The fireworks show on Fridays is a big attraction.The meals were very tasty. The Chicken Steak and pasta were always impeccable. With VERY good prices. We even saw couples escaping from other hotels around to go there for dinner, including.The staff were always willing to help, however...We asked them to unclog the bathroom twice and they were never able to fix it. We had the bathroom drain blocked for 7 days because apparently there was no solution. The solution was to take a shower and wait for the water to go away with great patience for the next round.The breakfast could have delivered more. For this I would give it a 2 out of 5. It could be improved with more fruit options and some other varieties.Unfortunately you need to rent a motorbike from the hotel as it is isolated from everything in Lamai and Samui. There is nothing interesting that you can walk to. The price is honest, including. But you will actually be a little isolated.The pillow is as thin as a butterfly filet and not comfortable.Internet only worked near the balcony in the room we were in.Swimming pool needed cleaning more frequently. Even more so with many children during the stay. There was a day when she was impractical with fat and hair. Lucky it was my last day.The price for washing clothes at the hotel was very honest. If I needed to go out to wash for a better price it would be a problem due to the distance.

This is a great place, fantastic location and amazing beaches.Great rooms, clean and tidy.But please, get rid of the plastic straws.Nobody likes them, and there are plenty of alternatives.

The place is very quiet and the hotel is pleasant. The restaurant is not too inflated and the food is good.Breakfast ok.The shower in the room was clogged and flooded the entire bathroom. We asked them to unclog it twice, without success. We spent 7 days in this situation.If you are going to stay here, you will have to rent a motorbike. It's not very central.Pillows were not very comfortable and the internet didn't work properly

Excellent place to stay to relax. Very friendly staff accommodating the needs of guests to a high standard. Would definitely stay here again best in the area.

Great hotel, after the welcome drink upon arrival we were upgraded free of charge to a sea view room with a private roof top. Lovely, smiling and helpful staff.
