Was a decent experience at Khao Sok Riverside cottages 3.5/5. The food was not top notch for thailand (some platters clearly had freezer-veggies). The service was good. The rooms were nice but the deck chairs could be much more comfortable as we spent a lot of time there due to the monsoon rains. We had to eg bring the pillows out on the wooden sofa to make it more comfortable.

We really had a jungle feeling here! The sounds, the monkeys in the trees in front of the restaurant…We booked this hotel in combination with a jungle adventure package. Fun activities for an ok price. Small tip: you can also book these activities separately. I think you end up with about the same price, but there is more choice locally.The rooms are made of tropical wood: very beautiful and cozy! Small minus: the bathroom is a bit outdated. Furthermore, there is no air conditioning, but there are fans. That was fine for me.Furthermore, a good restaurant and super friendly staff!Recommended!

If you want to get away from the world then this is the place for you . Surrounded by trees and nature . Food was good , staff very friendly and helpful . We booked a night safari via the hotel . Fantastic experience walking in the national park in the dark with a guide . Just watch out for the mosquitoes and leaches !!

Lovely location and friendly service/staff. We booked the 3D2N package which includes the 2D1N overnight tour on the lake. Good communication and everything went smoothly, from booking day before to pickup to dropoff and organising further transfer for us.The lake hut we stayed at via them was Keereewaarin. The Keereewaarin had better standards than what we expected and was communicated (included toilet and shower in the room).The tour itself is rather basic (boat trip to hut, small hike, small boattrip in morning for wildlife, which you have slim chances of seeing) and visit to a little cave, which was not impressive if you've seen any caves before. Plenty of leisure time at the huts, with options to swim, relax and or kayak (on which we did see monkeys!)

We absolutely loved our stay and will definitely return! This place is perfect for anyone who loves being close to nature and appreciates the sounds of wildlife, like the loud frogs serenading you at night. The restaurant serves decent food, and the rooms are clean and cozy. Highly recommended for nature enthusiasts! You literally stay in the middle of the jungle. You can watch the monkeys playing in the trees. It’s a truly magical experience!

They wanted to put me in a shared room instead of my own room, the one i booked. When i refused i got a different room then in payed for and didn't go with the group from Riverside cottages but with a different group. Very strange.. The location is not ideal, you are dependent on the staff to take you to the town. However the food is good.

You have to stay here when visiting Khao Sok National Park! The staff are very friendly, and really look after you. The tours and food provided have been consistently excellent, the best we have experienced in the whole of South East Asia. Book the lake tour through Khao Sok Riverside Cottages for a seamless experience. At the riverside, we particularly enjoyed the canoe activity. Unforgettable memories!

Such a beautiful location in Khao Sok! We were a little unsure about a more rustic stay, but the rooms were lovely, clean and comfortable, especially the bathrooms. The activities offered in the national park were all wonderful. The staff were very friendly, helpful and accommodating, letting us add in extra activities and allowing us to pre-order dinner for when we would return late and the kitchen would be closed. The night safari in particular was a highlight for me for sure. We loved it so much we went back again a second time. Our guide Lek made sure we had the experience of a lifetime hiking in the jungle!

Everything was really perfect, the setting is magnificent, in the middle of the jungle, the team welcomes you with a smile and organizes the excursions.You can go to the small village next door with the hotel shuttle.Bring mosquito repellent!The dishes are very good.I will come back with pleasure!Thank you for everything :)

We booked to stay here as a package with them for 4D3N with one of the nights at the floating village. We wanted to thoroughly experience the nature and beauty of Khao Sok, and after a lot of research went with here. The rooms at the Riverside were lovely. There were a lot of mosquitos, but to be expected, they provided mosquito nets, so this wasn't an issue at all. The remoteness was stunning in such a lovely setting. As part of the package, we paid for a room upgrade to a river view, and when we arrived, we were quite confused about where the river actually was. It was down from the room, but you could not see any of it. We done canoeing as part of the package also and the river was so low we basically got shoved down the river in a canoe with our arsed scraping of the rocks as we did. Due to a thunderstorm we couldn't do some of the activities we were to do with the night at the floating village so when we arrived back I spoke to the women at reception querying that we had booked a river room which we paid 400baht each extra for and we couldn't see the river and also the issue with the activities which we had also paid and she was extremely dismissive offered no form of apology or alternative honestly couldn't believe the rudeness of her. As a result, i decided to send an email to voice my concerns about all our issues as there were so many. I got no reply, so I had to follow up at reception, and finally, we got a response to the email apologising and offering us a small partial refund for the room view and activities. All in all the place is lovely and while the activities and room view was affected by the weather which is completely uncontrollable they should really not be offering a river view room if the river is too low to see nor canoeing if you can't actually canoe down the river. While i would recommend to stay here as the bungalows were lovely and the remoteness is so relaxing and they also had really good food I would just be wary of the packages!

We had booked a 4 days/3 nights package and that was great. Nice quiet location right on the river. Good service, delicious breakfast, served at the table. Unfortunately you were only allowed to choose 1 thing from the menu, so the choice was limited. Everything else was perfectly arranged! The night on the lake was also great (eventually had a more luxurious house). Unfortunately, few animals were spotted. But that's not surprising; groups of tourists crossing the lake in roaring boats. Because the reservoir is so large, we really had the feeling of being in the middle of (jungle) nature.

Wonderful stay. Very professional and friendly staff. Delicious homemade Thai cuisine (even the bread is homemade), we enjoyed it. We loved the trekking to Bang Man cave with our guide Klong. It makes us want to come back again :)
