Very nice rooms with a good price.John is simply a good person with alot of valuable information for every traveller.I was about to stay for 2 nights, but I had so much fun that I stayed for 10.Would recommend

i stayed here 2 weeks & loved every min. jon & his wife were so nice & accommodating. the rooms had all you need & even a balcony. jon gave great recommendations for the island as well. when i come back to kp i will always stay here. highly recommended. merci my french bro !!

The place is simple but it’s all you need when it comes to enjoy your vacation.And the great plus is John, the host which is the best you can find; se week here for koh Panghan half moon party and he was great.He helped us with a lot of advices on where to go for swimming, for dining, breakfast crave .Really everything you need and he will be there to help with a great smile!Thanks a lot! We will definitely recommend

Best host for sure. We stayed 4 nights and went to the halfmoon party. The host gave us so many great tips to do around the island. There was no for checking out what was great.The only remark we have is that we would have asked to clean the room if we would stay longer. Next time visiting we will go here again no doubt!

I had a great time at Moon Travel Phangan. Jon the owner was super friendly and helpful the entire time..he gave advice on what to go see on Koh Phangan, recommended bars and a place to rent a scooter. He let me switch to a nicer room right on arrivalHe gave me a great deal when I extended my stay and even drove me to the taxi station when I left.The room itself was clean and comfortable, with a little balcony to hang out in the evening. I slept really well (my room was towards the road, so people motorbikes could be heard quite well, but with earplugs this was no problem). The room had a fridge and a shower with hot water.When I come back to Koh Phangan, I will stay here again for sure!

Top place to visit the whole island, you can rent the scooter directly from the hotel, very clean rooms, very friendly welcome, price quality unbeatable for me, you can go there with your eyes closed, in any case I will come back next year.

The welcome and service from John and Alissa ''the bosses, a Franco Thai couple'' is incredible, they can advise you from A to Z, from the restaurant to the sunset view point, the party or going...... ........

We initially booked 3 nights but ended up staying 12 nights, thanks to the hospitality of Jon and Alisa. We immediately felt at home.Every day Jon had a chat with us and he usually had a good idea of what we could do or where we could eat. We regularly received bottled water and the accommodation was clean. There is a refrigerator and good air conditioning.When the tire on our scooter turned out to be flat the first evening, Jon helped us. He thought along with us and had the tire inflated at one of his neighbors to see what the problem could be. He also gave advice on what follow-up actions we could take.When we had to scooter to the north of the island every day for a 4-day retreat, we still loved staying at Moon Travel. During one of these days we forgot that we should have changed rooms (because we wanted to extend our stay). Jon and Alisa made up for our mistake by moving all our stuff from our old room and waiting for us all day even though they couldn't reach us.Jon and Alisa, thank you for all your hospitality and help. We enjoyed it and wish everyone such nice people as you during their stay on Koh Phangan!

Very nice hotel for a good price!AC and fridge in the room. Fridge is always on so you can store something without having to put your key card in the power holder.Staff are fantastic. Always willing to help with anything and good recommendations about the island!

It's a really great place to stay - the rooms are big, big fridge, air condition, balcony, nice view to the palms, easy to access everything on this island ! Located on the main road, a great place to catch a taxi without waiting time hah.The beach is on the other side of the road - 5min walk and you have Infinity lounge with pool , dj and amazing sunsets !Both owners are really kind, informative and helpful ! They made our stay welcoming and safe !Also there is a bike rental next door so all is good. I highly recommend this place !

Very clean, air-conditioned room with fridge which exactly matches the photos on Booking. Excellent value for money. John the boss is French. He is always available, helpful, friendly and gives good advice regarding services outside his hotel. This hotel is located between Tong Sala (Center / Port) which is 10 minutes by scooter and Haad Rin (Very large and beautiful beach where the popular Full Moon takes place) which is also 10 minutes away. It is essential to have a scooter even if there are all services nearby (beach, restaurant, laundry, massage, hairdresser, station, etc.) The hotel is on a busy street so quite noisy but you get used to it. The bedding is very correct. I stayed in this hotel for 1 month.

STAY AWAY - THIEVES !! I had to stay here for a night when my hostel was overbooked and came back at night to find my camera and laptop bag stolen. They said I must’ve left the door unlocked and a monkey came in the room. While I was threatening to call the police someone downstairs was arguing about being forced to pay 3000 baht “scratch” damages on a motorbike he rented but obviously they had his passport hostage. Totally confirmed that they are literally robbing everyone they deal with.

Excellent guesthouse! For 450 Butt he rented a room on the 4th floor. The "minus" of the fourth floor is the shared toilet/shower. In fact, there are two rooms on the floor, the second room was not occupied, therefore: I had the entire floor at my disposal, including a terrace with a gorgeous view! There are 1-2 floors around the building, so I was given all the beauty of the local nature without interference - I was just above the palm trees and the view was simply gorgeous! There is a 7-eleven within walking distance and the sea with a view of Koh Samui is a 7-minute walk... The beach is mediocre, of course. If you go to the left for about 5 minutes when exiting, there will be two good cafes.We need to ride a bike before the full moon party...And the big boss is a very nice young Thai woman who will advise and help with everything))) Including taxis, tickets to the mainland and various vouchers))) In general, it’s very friendly and affordable compared to Phuket...
