A very cool place to spend a couple of nights and get to know the Khao Sok National Park.The monkeys are your neighbors and they come to visit you in a very friendly way.The cabin next to the river is very good, it is not luxurious, but it fits in with the surroundings and is very comfortable.The facilities, in general, are very good and you can walk to the entrance to the park.There are many restaurants nearby and also laundry.

The general atmosphere was really nice and rustic. The location is fantastic, lots of restaurants in walking distance and also an entrance to Khao Sok just up the road (perhaps a 10 minute walk). The rooms were quite poor though and felt less than clean with weak air conditioning, which meant we were sweltering at all times. We were also a bit grossed out to find monkey faeces floating around in the swimming pool. Tasty food at the restaurant but fairly slow service. Overall, it did the job! Just don't expect 5-star facilities!

The hotel was located in the forest, which was a beautiful view! The rooms were a bit too small and the beds weren't comfortable. It's close to the main street in the little town that was right there, beautiful place. When we checked in the staff at the entrance we're nice! It's even better if you like the forest vibes this place gives. Beautiful place!

We have had lunch here with a group of 21. It took +/- 45 min for the first food to arrive whilst the restaurant was nearly empty. Afterwards it took even much longer for the rest of the food to be served. Quality of the food was average.

Great location for 1 or 2 nights. Especially because of the nice eateries and bars directly around it. Rooms have many defects (toilet seat, air conditioning, broken lamps), but visiting monkeys in the early evening makes it special to sit there. Don't leave anything outside or unattended because the monkeys will immediately take it away

The experience was chaotic. The staff were all chatting when we got off our bus and faffing about with each other. They then preceded to take our luggage and put them on golf carts. They then had to drive them to our rooms, but didn't know who's bag was who's and what room. We didn't have a key so had to go to reception for another and another group in our party were given a double booked room and were advised to try another hotel nearby. Dinner was also chaotic as the system they applied did not work and meant that staff were flustered and food was really late coming out.

Hotel is in need of a thorough renovation. The hotel and the rooms are simply broken. Breakfast options are limited. Location for hikes and excursions. Staff very friendly and helpful.

Review of the RESTAURANT. My family and I dined here for the first time 1.5 years ago. Then we ordered BBQ Shabu Hotpot for a large family (4 adults). We liked everything that time and we had pleasant impressions.Today we decided to visit again. At the entrance to the restaurant there is a children's playground, which is a big plus for families with children. Hardened:- Grilled pork - 170 baht- Fried rice with pineapple- Thai soup 🍲We waited for more than half an hour for delivery. Although Thai food is usually prepared quickly, and the restaurant was not very busy. When the meat was served, I was immediately disappointed by the size of the portion for 170 baht (pictured). Then they brought soup. I found a long black hair in the soup 😡 asked to take this dish back and cancel it. Instead of soup, I ordered Spaghetti Bolognese with pork (it looked delicious in the photo on the menu). We had to wait about 20 more minutes. And when the dish was served, there was a disappointment from the “expectation - reality” series (photo of the dish and photo from the menu in the photos below). It tastes so-so. And the pieces of meat were like rubber, I had to spit them out. We didn't like the fried rice with pineapple either - it was OVER-seasoned.In general, I can rate the food ⭐️⭐️, perhaps with the exception of some dishes. Service on ⭐️⭐️⭐️. Location on ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ - the hotel/restaurant is located by the river.

I or we liked it a lot. Typical Thai charm, slightly older but well-kept bungalows, we were right on the river as booked. Pleasant and quiet, it's a quick walk to the entrance to Khao Sok National Park. However, please note: you really have to be careful about the monkeys. In other words: don't leave anything edible outside (I didn't want to take any risks and didn't leave any shoes or laundry outside when we weren't there) and don't eat anything on the veranda, always close the doors straight away - always lock them from the inside. I don't think that's a bad thing, it's part of it, after all we're using the animals' habitat. But you can watch families of monkeys bathing in the river, very cute.The lodge itself is a bit older, yes, but I wasn't expecting a new, stylish, high-gloss resort, but just that. For us, it fit perfectly into the surrounding area and the Khao Sok trip. A bit cheesy at times ;-) I have to say, we only paid €24 per night.Breakfast surprised me positively, everything has a relaxed style. I like to have an Asian breakfast, there was at least 1 vegetarian warm dish every day and, in addition to fried rice, also plain rice, 1-2 warm dishes with meat, potatoes, salad. Fried eggs and pancakes at the live station. Rice soup, 2-3 types of fruits. Also on offer: toast, muesli/cornflakes, milk, freshly baked pancakes.One evening we ate at the resort, it wasn't great, but it was good. The team at the resort was always nice, especially worth mentioning: the team in the restaurant in the evening was very, very friendly and accommodating!

Beautiful resort with very friendly and helpful staff. The exterior needs some improvements but the lodges are modern, clean and very well situated along the river. There is a swimming pool, a big slide into the river, midget golf and a playground. It is in the middle of the village and walking distance from the National Park entrance. The is a wide selection of excursions and activities to be booked at the reception.

Amazing rain forest resort! Friendly and helpful staff! Lots of activities available such as river tubing. Cabins are charming, clean, and spacious with deluxe bathrooms. Delicious restaurant. Monkeys everywhere, beware!

After reading some bad reviews I was a bit skeptical, but I think people forget that you are not in the Netherlands.Hotel is fine, yes there are still buildings under construction, but the room is neat and fine to sleep in.
