Small family business under the OYO banner that we highly recommend.Located just 3 motorbike Minutes from klong nin beach or a 10 minute Walk, the area is really quite and you have a great view over Lanta yai's southern mountains.The Bungalow/Rooms are very new & clean and as of now on par with the very best 3 star western accommodation in the world. To get such a nice room you usually have to dig deeper in your pocket, even in Thailand.The bathrooms are tiled clean & nicely. AC cools fast and the Isolation keeps the heat outside pretty well.So the Bungalows are very house-like fully closed without gaps for mosquitos to enter your bedroom during the night. The sanitary fittings are brand products and the (optional) rainfall shower is something we learned to really love during our 3day+2day+5day staySo yes, during our 4 weeks trip we returned two Times to serena lanta after our initial stay because we enjoyed it so much.So if you do not want to spend a lot of money and do not require a pool, but still want to have a quality bedroom, bathroom and balcony this is by far the best option. We checked out and stayed at many places on lanta in the sub 1500thb range and nothing come close in our opinion. Keep in mind: Even during corona crisis they are most of the time fully booked so i recommend booking at least two days in advance if you want to extend your stay at the counter.
