The staff welcomed us pleasantly and the space of the hotel is really cute. However, the bed was very very uncomfortable and the fan was not enough to cool..Do not lose the receipt of the deposit because the employee at the reception will be very angry with you in a passive aggressive way like it happened to me (:

Room had cockroaches. Smelt very damp. Was denied a refund but offered another room. Following room also seemed unclean. There was copious hair on the sheets (doubtfully cleaned prior) and stains on pillows.

Went rock climbing for half a day with King Climbers at Railay Beach. Was super fun, well organised and as someone who has not climbed outdoors before, felt well supported to do the climb with seasoned instructors guiding us up along the route.

We only had food here- 120 bhat full breakfast with coffee. Was okay but won’t be coming back. Staff didn’t seem to care about anything and food was just edible, the free coffee wasn’t good and my partner had the orange juice which tasted like water. Would recommend if you want cheap food otherwise not

Do not recommend staying at this resort. The room had cockroaches, bugs, and mosquitoes, which made for an uncomfortable and unhygienic stay. The room itself was poorly maintained, with noticeable cracks in the door and windows, allowing insects easy access. The WiFi was nonexistent in the rooms and only sporadically available near the restaurant. Even after being moved to a different room closer to reception, the WiFi remained unreliable, while the insect problem persisted. To add to the frustration, the staff at the reception were incredibly rude. Overall, the resort's cleanliness, customer service, and amenities, fell far below acceptable standards. Look elsewhere for a pleasant and bug-free stay.

We arrived thinking it would be like the pictures but to our surprise it was not quite as similar. The room was dirty (especially the bathroom), with many mosquitoes and other insects. The pool is okay but the smell of sewage is present throughout the resort. We cut our stay short and decided to book a different hotel for only a bit more money and it made all the difference. Honestly, Railay is a beautiful place and it is a shame to stay in a place that is uncomfortable and dirty when for a bit more money you can stay in a 4 star resort and truly enjoy your time there.

A very pleasant hotel, well located in a quiet location with a breathtaking view for breakfast. The room is clean and well appointed, the air conditioning works very well. The swimming pool is a plus when it's hot, the terrace above overlooks a beautiful view. From there it is possible to explore and vary the landscapes and beaches. The staff lacks warmth but is compensated by the beauty of the place and its proximity to all the bars and restaurants of Railay. We will definitely come back without hesitation.

Understated Railay Viewpoint on Railay's East Coast is a great value-for-money find with a variety of accommodation from comfy bungalows to standard fan rooms. The layout is a visual delight and looks a bit like a jungle paradise. Even the cheapest rooms have a wide, shared balcony, good for hearing birds singing in the landcaped gardens in the morning over a cup of coffee, and also for laying out your yoga mat. The rooms are sparkling clean, with beautiful tiled floors, mini fridge, electric kettle and luggage racks. The warm lighting is muted and reminds one of home. The in-house restaurant has inexpensive food, delicious and full of variety, and overlooks the sea, with a fine view of Railay harbour. The icing on the cake is the clean swimming pool and the huge, viewing deck with great views of Railay. It's a great party spot during the season and also great for private parties.

A cheap hotel is its advantage. Dark rooms, moldy air conditioning (this is standard in cheaper Thai hotels), cockroaches. As for towels, it is better not to buy from them unless you expect to pay 500thb for one. After normal use for 5 days, the towel is naturally dirty when not replaced. We didn't take part in the climbing because that's what they're mainly interested in. Towels are not changed even once during the stay.

Lovely position looking out over the bay at Railay East. They offer a good menu and a variety of drinks. Very comfortable with lots of fans to keep you cool.

Nice hotel, we took the standard rooms which were, as the name suggests - standard. No view, but clean and comfortable bed.
Breakfast can have some more non "sugar/fat" options.

The stay was fine! The room was spacious and clean. The breakfast was very tasty. Location was good. However, there was a woman at the reception who was incredibly rude. She made us feel unwelcome. She also claimed that we had not paid a deposit. When we showed the receipt, she lied that she had no change for us and got angry that we had no change for her either. I would come back to the resort but I absolutely would not be happy to see her here again.
