I booked 2 nights, taking the cheapest room.It was a disaster, it was not human. Musty smell, humidity, cockroaches, dirty sheets, and unbearable heat (even if it rained...), and impossible to ventilate.So I made a request for my second night, for the best room. It faced the swimming pool, the decor is really nice and the room was studious for the price.You really need to book the best rooms, or it's better to sleep outside. Be very careful.

We spent two lovely nights at Tropical Garden. The rooms are nice, the decor is on the theme of nature. The place is quiet for sleeping. It takes 15 minutes to walk to the main port and only 5-10 minutes to the center of Koh Phi Phi.We bought tickets for half a day at Maya Bay + snorkeling to see sharks. It was a good price and a very nice excursion.The only downside for me is the price and quality of the food offered directly on site. The pad thai is not exceptional and expensive…

Very dirty. Covering yourself with a blanket that is not washed after another is not pleasant. The furniture is old, the sink is broken, the doors don't open well. The walls are made of cardboard, you can hear the neighbors snoring. It's a 7-minute walk to the pool and it's common to all hotels in the area. Plywood sun loungers. Although the wi-fi is normal and the owner is friendly.

The experience was disappointing and one that I want to forget immediately. The room has AC but you have to pay an extra 15 dollars a day, taking advantage of the fact that it's 35 degrees Celsius and you have no other solution. The bungalow looks dirty inside, and the bathroom is just as unkempt. It actually looks like an animal stable. It was cooler outside than inside. Avoid this location as much as possible, because you will only waste money and time. I left after 2 hours to check in at another location. The staff is indolent and insensitive. One of the people who work there sat in the hammock of my bungalow and sweated on it while I was away to see the surroundings a bit.

Avoid! No plumbing for 75% of our stay! When we first checked in it seemed ok - although the hut next to our was completely collapsed! Toilet is inside the main room with just a partition wall and the double bed was 2 uncomfortable old single mattresses pushed together so not great for couples!Shower worked when we arrived but that night before bed there was no water. Next day it was sputtering out brown foul smelling liquid until dinnertime when it was 'fixed' - water was still with sediment and smelt like petrol. And next day it was off again! We told them and they just rudely said ok. Would not give a discount despite us not being able to properly shower or flush for 3 nights!Don't pay upfront in case you have issues!Didnt go in the pool it looked disgusting.

INCREDIBLE value for money!The rooms are super clean, the bed is comfortable. Little extra, there is a swimming pool!I don't understand why the rating is so low, we loved it. The staff is also very cheerful and very pleasant. They offer island hopping (cheap and very high quality) and trips to other islands.Very good location too, they are close to everything.

What can I say, this place has been amazing and they are really considerate of their customers‼️💯I fell ill with food poisoning whilst on Phi Phi quite severely, not many hotels were understanding and couldn’t provide room service during my recovery periodBut when I checked into the Tropical Goldenbungalows, they were very caring and understanding that i was recovering from food poisoningThey immediately went out their way to provide me with great room service and they were very considerateThe staff are lovely! The location is great if you want a quiet night away resting from the music & loud crowds ☮️I would highly recommend this property to anyone travelling on Koh Phi Phi, yeah it might be a few pounds more then your regular dorm/ double bed on the strip but I promise you now the privacy and service they provide is completely worth it!I will stay here again when I return to Phi Phi in better health 😅🏝️🇹🇭

It was a spacious place, it had a net for the bed and hot water.The people who worked at the reception were super friendly.Inside the room there were cockroaches, and they were not in the best condition.The pool had very cloudy water.

Above all, avoid! It is very dangerous, the infrastructure is damaged. The rooms smell very bad and the person doesn't like tourists.

Terrible stay away - don't come here- ceiling has plant roots growing through it (office ceiling tiles)- at night the rooms are boiling hot, literally warmer than outside- splinters from the wooden plank floors- bathroom floods when showering- no privacy as curtains are see through- fan is just loud and makes no difference- staff barely have money for change

The location was great and some rooms do have aircon. The bad part was, weird brown stuff on the sheets, the room smelled really bad and the worst part was the mattresses. It was so bad I was pretty much sleeping on springs. I have never had a worse experience when it comes to mattresses. I would come back only if they fix their mattresses

The view is the biggest thing for me. It's absolutely stunning. The room is also on the pretty side. There is an AC that works well. No fridge (at least not in our room).The bathroom is very spacey and the shower has hot water. You als get one roll of toilet paper in the beginning.We didn't see many bugs. We did have 2 small geckos in our room but they didn't disturb us.The room is clean and you can ask for the housekeeping to clean it up at any time. some things are also kind of broken or Pretty old but not to the extend that it would be disturbing.It's not really all too quiet at night but it is pretty bearable.The way up to the rooms is very exhausting since it's up the hill by a good bit. And most definitely not suit for wheelchairs.There is a swimming pool you can use Freely from 10 to 21 o'clock. The pool is nice and looks exactly like in the pictures. There is also a pool bar which isn't even too pricey.
