Be very very careful when booking with Pause. This host is very tricky to work with. We booked a room for 1 month this March and I sent a deposit and about 40% extra to cover for the room charges. However at the same time my girlfriend had booked another room so when we tried to cancel our reservation with Pause, a month before the booking dates, the host said it's not possible and literally kept all my money which was around 600 dollars. We kept pleading for at least the return on the deposit but she wouldn't give the rest of the money back. My advise to you is, take a long "pause" and have a deep think before making a reservation with them. Terrible customer service beware.

Be prepared, we(couple) stayed there already a few times, and every time we had 8-10 water breaks.You wake up - no water, simply because they closed it or decided to fix it. No prior notice.They have no generator, so when electricity is down on the island (often) you will have no electricity and also NO WATER.you will find your self many times during your stay without water to shower or clean dishes. and it's hot..Stuff always hang around the houses and talk, clean, etc, you have no quiet, they are nice but they clean all day long and it always feels that people hang around you and no time to relax.Rooms are nice but for this price, fix your water and buy an electric generator like other hotels.

My stay at the bungalow was comfortable. The bed is large, big fridge and bathroom is spacious. The balcony is very nice, especially in the evenings. Location is perfect, a short walk to srithanu/ zen beach and many restaurants.The houses definitely has an ant problem , they're insane, so watch out for even a drop of coconut water!For me there wasn't much privacy as the bungalows are very close to eachother.Otherwise everything was great, I had a good time.

The most amazing stay in Koh Phangan. I am fortunate enough to have spent more than 2,5 years here and call it my second home. The kindest owner 💗 very clean, close to all the amazing places, yet quiet and very homey. Thank you 🙏🏻 i will be back soon!

Amazing place to stay on KP. Super friendly owner and manager, good price and very clean and nice Bungalows. I can recommend the premium ones, the have a separate kitchen.Only shower pressure wasn't quite hard enough and Bathroom in general could be nicer. But again for price, space, location it's great!!

I liked everything there. Houses are very well built, decorated and furnitured.Lady manager is such a gentle soul and kind person, so are her daughters too.The only problem was, they were building a new house near the one I was staying in, so I suffered noise many hours every day.I was there in middle of August 2021 and was told that construction will be finished in a month.

I lived there for almost six months. I absolutely loved it there. The apartments are beautiful, spacious, full of light.Mama waan and her staff are so generous and loving, I felt so welcomed and was taken care of everything I needed. The place is so close to everywhere but still quiet somehow.Beautiful garden and I had a beautiful view of the mountains from the second floor (C3 apartment) which I loved!

Most amazing place ever. It feels like home. Everyone that stays there comes back there and they stay longer than they intended. This place is amazing and the people who run it. Both mama Kaa and her daughter are amazing. Can’t wait to come back in a couple of days and stay for my entire visa stay. Lots of love Dee

I stayed 6 weeks in bungalow B3 (the bigger bungalow). As a female traveler on my own this was the best decision ever. I met everyone else also staying at Pause Panghan. We had our little community and still I had my privacy and my beautiful bungalow. It was also calm in the night (what's really important for me). I also liked that it was directly on the main street which is not dark at night. Before I had another accommodation where I felt insecure driving on a super dark road. Still it's close to Srithanu. To the beach etc. I LOVED it so so much.The family is just super nice and uncomplicated. Oh and the fruit shop next door is perfect and super cheap. They sell cheap fruits in the evening.I never cooked even though the kitchen is huge. I only made porridge with fruits in the morning.The bed is comfortable.Modern bungalow.What I didn't like:The AC was blowing directly into my face. So I had to hang a scarf in front of it.What you should know:Without AC it was impossible to survive in May :-) but you have to pay extra for the power. It's totally fine. You should just calculate that before.Also I would have loved a hammock in front of the bungalow. The bench outside is not really comfortable to chill or read a book. Just as an idea :-)

My stay at pause was memorable, to say the least. Natthilda was very welcoming and helped us rent a bike as well. My studio was lovely! Beautiful layout with a nice kitchen and modern design. The family who owned this property welcomed me with open arms. Highly recommended!

On the best part of the island, near all the vegan restaurant's and yoga schools. Pi Wan, the owner is the sweetest woman you will ever meet. Cute bungalows, that are the perfect size with everything you would need for a quick trip or an extended stay. I couldn't recommend this place more. :)
