The restaurant is beautifully located on the beach. Great atmosphere in the evening. The dishes were very fine and beautifully presented across the board. You're right to pay a little more for that. Tip!

From the first moment to our check out - this hotal was amazing. Amazig room, pool, food, and above all supreme customer service. The beach is perfect, and the entire atmosphere was relaxed and above what we have expected.

Great and friendly! I only know the restaurant because I stayed in the neighboring Santhiya Hotel. The restaurant is really very good and the service is very friendly and accommodating. The menu has several surprises in store. Just try it out. Anyone who says that it's cheaper to eat in the village should just go there - but it's not better. The location is so cool, on the beach, relaxed and authentic.

Loved this hotel. The staff are fantastic and so helpful and friendly. Shoutout to Tae. Food is awesome and the breakfast options are really good. Best coffee we had on Phangan as well. It’s literally on the beach and the design of the hotel is great as well. Loved the pool. Will be back!

We were island hopping through Thailand for our honeymoon and I decided to book Sand in My Shoes as our last stop as my husband had not yet experienced Koh Phangan. I was a little hesitant to end the honeymoon in a sleepy little village on a part of the island I had not yet been to, but it turned out to absolute perfection and complete paradise!We had tossed up on whether to stay at Sand In My Shoes or Anantara and after venturing through Anantara whilst there, I am really happy we ended up where we did as it was absolute bliss!The food was incredible. The coffee the best we had had in Asia. The beach was perhaps my new favourite in all of Thailand (and I have travelled extensively throughout). The staff were so lovely (special shout out to Tae who checked us in and organised our transfer back to Samui airport!). We stayed in the beach loft overlooking the ocean and it was stunning. The room was spacious, the bed incredibly comfortable, the deck was our favourite place to watch the sunrise each morning and enjoy a drink in the evenings - we simply couldn't fault it.We will most definitely be returning and can't wait to do so!Thank you to all of the staff who made our stay incredibly special and such a highlight of our honeymoon!

We chose the restaurant because of its amazing location - chairs and tables IN the sand, really nice! Unfortunately, the waiter's English was quite poor, which led to confusion. The prices are rather high, but the quality of the food is middle class. Better to eat in the village for less money!

I can't understand the negative reviews at all. The hotel was definitely one of the most beautiful for us out of a total of 6 stays. The staff was super friendly and accommodating, the room was spacious and clean, breakfast was fresh and very tasty and the beach was also beautiful.Renting a scooter is an advantage as it is somewhat remote. However, the rooms are a bit noisy but not bad.I think the price is a bit expensive for Thailand but we will still come back. You're happy to pay a little more for a nice and quiet hotel😊

I will definitely not book here again. It's so overpriced and overrated. The staff is unfriendly and there is no service.The apartment is contaminated with mold. There is a pungent smell throughout the entire apartment including furniture, walls and facilities. The shower has rusted pipes. Dilapidated wooden bathtub on a narrow terrace with a 7 meter high concrete wall on one side and a public breakfast canteen on the other. Privacy unknown. Rats run across the terrace in the evening. Service staff sleep right next to it at night.The breakfast is not worth the money. Anyone who says a piece of baguette from the day before with a blob of cold scrambled eggs or a leaf of lettuce with Ikea ketchup is delicious obviously cannot classify a delicious breakfast. Ordering the three breakfast options (scrambled eggs, fried eggs, yoghurt) by letter the day before was completely out of time. A nightmare.Communication is almost impossible and if it is, the reaction is with incomprehension. Completely unreasonable, there is no hospitality or a competent reception here.This place, almost at the end of the world, is so infested with tourists that you think you can do anything with your guests there. What is happening there is a tragedy.There are so many pleasant accommodations with warm and friendly hosts on Koh Phangan and Thailand, this one is the complete opposite of everything.Price/performance: UndergroundRating: Completely overrated (real reviews?)Recommendation: Never

This is a review for the restaurant!The food wasn't that great, quite plain and not that cheap. BUT the view is priceless! Right on the most beautiful beach and from what I've seen of the resort it looked really good, too. Staff were very child-friendly with baby high chairs and toys available.

Some unfriendly staff with prices that are way too high for this service!! Would like to do a little beach bar on the Mediterranean, but we're still a world away!! Going one stop further makes sense!! Service costs are also charged, I have never seen that in Thailand, especially when there is no service!!

The restaurant's location is breathtaking, situated right on the beach with a superb view. However, the dining experience fell short in terms of food quality and value for money. The dish in the image cost 250 THB, but unfortunately, it didn't live up to expectations. The rice was already dry, albeit still warm, and the chicken was slightly burnt, as evident in the picture. Additionally, the service was lacking, as the man serving seemed very unmotivated and didn't utter a word. On the bright side, the woman at the bar was friendly and accommodating. Overall, while the scenery was stunning, the food was average at best, and the service left much to be desired.
