The hotel is located on a steep slope with an excellent view, although there are bad reviews, the rooms are being cleaned up and renovated, we got a great room with a great view, on the right side of the beach there is a large coral reef with a lot of fish

We have been in the Hotel for 4 nights. The rooms that are in the mountains are so difficult to access...if not, it is with the golf cart (service ends at 10 p.m.) to walk up. It is a climbing exercise...the slopes to go up are super steep. Thank goodness we only stayed one night although we had booked downstairs then they moved us. The hotel does not have a restaurant, only a kind of a la carte cafeteria run by a man who with great reluctance serves the few clients who, without knowing him, dare to try it. (The hotel was full). In general, the facilities need renovations. They have not been renovated in 24 years... and they are quite dilapidated... (see photos). They don't put a sink towel. The other towels are very old, frayed and torn (see photos) The location is horrible since the tides leave the hotel without a beach all day (at this time of year) and also for going out for a walk and (having breakfast, lunch and dinner) To the next beach you have to cross a stretch full of rocks in the sea.....a passage without light and almost inaccessible. The sheets are full of balls, they are so old, even with the seams in the middle of the sheet. (see photos).. The shower is full of lime and very old too. There is no 24-hour reception, the service also ends at 10 p.m. Nothing to be a 4 star hotel. I would never return nor do I recommend it, any 3 star beach resort is much better.

The hotel is basically okay but unfortunately a bit outdated.It feels like there are only three employees in the entire resort. It feels somewhat "deserted."In the evening, there’s hardly any light in the restaurant, and the tables are not set, which is why we mostly went to SaladHut.When we did order food, it was usually very tasty. Therefore, it’s a shame that so little is made of the existing potential.You can only hope to get a house in the lower area. Otherwise, bring hiking boots. ^^The pool at our pool villa was not particularly clean, so we didn't use it.

One of the nicest window views from a hotel room I’ve ever had! Stunning view & right on the beach.Pros:- Outdoor facilities were incredible, 3 pools and comfy sun loungers.- Stunning room view- Staff were nice and friendlyCons:- bugs crawling on the surfaces in the bathroom- room is nice and traditional however cleaning is not up to standard- didn’t refresh the teas/coffees and left the dirty cups, spoons & plates instead of giving us clean ones ( we had to reuse the dirty ones )- very very steep hills to get up and down the resort — if you have accessibility issues or struggle to walk then it will be impossible to enter the resort back and forth.- very steep hill to get down to the pool aswell.I personally was terrified of staying here after reading reviews of people having their money stolen from the safe so I was very paranoid & couldn’t fully relax BUT all the staff were super nice & helpful! None of our belongings were stolen and our room was not entered apart from the cleaners.

Amazing location. Right on the beach. The rooms were okay. Clean but could do with a re-vamp. Service was great and the pools were great. The staff in check in were nice and accommodating. I have seen some reviews about stuff being stolen. Although I left my iPad in the room during the duration of my stay and nothing was stolen so I guess it’s okay ??

We stayed here for one night during full moon party and booked a 2 bedroom suite with a private pool room.No water in one room, no amenities, charged us 300baht for a small broken soup case.Restaurant closes before 8pm and opens after 8am in the morning.Not so friendly staff, RECONSIDER

This hotel is a fraud. Our dates had to be rescheduled and they offered a credit note to rebook. However, it has now been six months, and the hotel does not reply to emails or messages on LINE to help us rebook. I recommend you do not book this hotel.

I am extremely disappointed with my recent stay at this hotel. During my visit, a significant amount of money was stolen from my in-room safe. The safe was locked, and there were no signs of forced entry, which strongly suggests that the theft was committed by a member of the hotel staff.What is even more alarming is the hotel management's complete lack of concern and action regarding this serious incident. Despite reporting the theft immediately, the management did absolutely nothing to investigate or address the situation. Their negligence and indifference are unacceptable.I urge potential guests to think twice before booking a stay here. The security of personal belongings should be a top priority for any hotel, and this establishment has clearly failed in that regard. I will not be returning, and I recommend others to avoid this hotel at all costs.

**** Caution! Hotel of thieves ****We had money stolen from the safebox in our room by one of the hotel's employees and after we complained we got a threatening feeling from them that we should leave it. Stay away from this place!!!I am writing this review to warn potential travelers about Salad Buri Resort. I experienced a shocking incident during my stay, and I don't want anyone else to go through the same thing.During my stay, I discovered that hotel staff had entered my room and stolen thousands of dollars from the in-room safebox. There were no signs of forced entry, leading me to believe this was a deliberate act of theft by a hotel employee - the poolman was my main suspect. He deal with our room-pool and saw us leaving (and by chance or not he is also the one who came to help in case the safebox is locked and has the special key in case it needs to be opened).I immediately contacted the hotel management, but was met with complete indifference. They barely bothered to investigate their employees until I involved the police, they offered no compensation, and even tried to cover up the incident. It was clear that they just wanted me to leave the hotel so I wouldn't bother them anymore. Utterly helpless!!!!It is also important to note that the access to the hotel is very dangerous. The road leading to the hotel is unpaved and poorly lit, making it very difficult to walk or drive, especially at night.Despite reading negative reviews about the hotel before I arrived, I thought I would give them a chance. It was a big mistake. I regret not listening to the warnings, and now I am paying a heavy price.In summary, I strongly recommend that anyone considering staying at Salad Buri Resort think again. There are many other hotels in the area that offer much better service and a safer experience. Avoid this place at all costs!

They broke into our safe!!!! It seems like this is the hotel staff's fault because there are no signs of a break-in (use a dedicated key for the safe).The hotel management did not help in any way and did not agree / offer compensation.We filed a complaint with the local police and asked to see cameras,The cameras "by chance" are not aimed at the room (the thief knew where the cameras were).

**Thieves Alert**€3,000 in cash has been stolen from the safe in my room. I suspect the hotel staff might be involved, as there are no signs of a break-in and only they can access the room and safe. Unfortunately, I don't have proof.Additionally, the room conditions were very poor; the beds were unsanitary, leaving me with itches all over.i suggest not getting close to this place.

Abandoned hotel!!! They don't know the service here, receptionist who sucks, no smile. Restaurant closed, no buffet at lunch and waited 45m minutes to get food which was not good.Nothing is wrong with this hotel.Regarding the room, you have to walk a lot to finally get there. Broken blinds, several lamps that did not work and constant sound of water flowing throughout the night.It’s a shame to come to this with a hotel in a good location!

Great price performance! The rooms are not new or ultra modern, but are very clean, fully equipped and cleaned daily. We had a villa with a pool and a really nice view of the sea. It is very quiet with lots of privacy. The stairs to the beach were in no way annoying or impossible for us. However, for those with physical disabilities, a room down by the pool should be booked.The staff is friendly and tries very hard! We were allowed to change our room upon request because the compressor at the pool was too loud for us.The massage directly at the hotel was one of the best we were able to enjoy on our vacation.There are very nice and cheap restaurants by the sea with one of the most beautiful beaches on this island.Scooters and taxis to the pier could be booked on site at the hotel. Overall, we had a great time at this resort, which we would book again!

The mountainside rooms were very nice. Unfortunately not every room has a balcony. The receptionist, with his indifference and his blunt manner, bothered us the most. As a figurehead in the land of smiles, he got into the wrong position. Transport from the port to the hotel and back with the hotel's own shuttle costs 200 baht per person. In the neighboring hotel the transfer per person was 50 baht cheaper. The section of beach is overshadowed by stones and not inviting, it is better to take a trip to the other beaches nearby. There was also no breakfast buffet.

Nice hotel, sea 50 meters away (Salad beach), 3 swimming pools of different depths, well-groomed beautiful area. Rooms are cleaned every day. There is a restaurant, which is delicious. Half an hour's ride to the center of the island by bike. Quiet and calm.
