I thought for a long time what to write in this review, because obviously after visiting dozens of countries on different continents, I was not so shocked by the ratings of the accommodation when I saw the reality for myself.Of the pluses:Nice view of the sea, bamboo benches to sit on the "shore", nice hammock on the porch. The older gentleman giving the keys is very nice, we got the room 2 hours earlier. This is where the advantages end.For the first time in my traveling career, I felt disgusted sleeping in a bed. The rooms are very dark, so you can't see many things, but I've attached photos of the "cover" for the mattress, which was fully covered. I wonder when someone washed it, probably that's why it's brown, so that it doesn't show so much dirt. There is no normal bedding or even sheets, only blankets that have certainly not been washed after previous guests. you could feel it. I slept in my clothes throughout my stay so as not to touch it. When entering the bungalow, we were struck by the smell of musty dampness, which we tried to ventilate and then mask with purchased air fresheners, with poor results. The use of air conditioning is limited, after some time it "blocks" the flow and that's it, you have to call to turn it on. In addition, it is explained by "many guests on the island for a party", where the previous days we slept 3 km away and there was no problem. The bathroom is a total drama, there is mold at the sink (I attach a photo), the shower does not have particularly hot water, taking a bath when you are more than 1.6 m tall is a pain. Additionally, the sewage system is very old and has almost no water at all (it was very stressful for me). To start with, there was a micro bottle of shampoo (for one wash), it was never refilled, and the towels and waste bin were not replaced even once during the 3 nights. Bunaglow is very old, dirty, cracked walls, musty curtains. There is a difference between simple, neat equipment and old, falling apart... After the rating of 9.1, I expected something COMPLETELY different, I have no idea what these ratings are for. This famous hospitality of the owner can be seen for people who buy a private trip from her. Contact with her is also difficult - before and during arrival. Oh, and don't use the restaurant recommended here on the road Thai style - the worst food in Thailand, I left a full plate for the first time in 2 weeks. I saw two bungalows on the shore, they looked much better and I have the impression that these reviews are about them, but only two of them are like that, the rest are obviously just like ours, not renovated for 20 years. I really regret that no one has written an honest assessment of what it's like before, because the standard is really worse than in a hostel, and the price did not indicate it (I slept in many cheaper places that looked much better...). Additionally, don't look at the photos of beaches in the reviews, there are none nearby, and there is only a concrete shore next to the bungalow ;)If it weren't for the fact that it's high season and finding accommodation from one day to the next would be extremely difficult, I wouldn't stay here.
