Firstly the rating is based on the absolute appalling and disgusting way supposed guests are treated upon leaving, there were plenty of other issues during the 8 night stay but leaving the hotel and being made to wait approximately 15mins whilst they check your room to see if you have taken anything, or from the mini bar items is the lowest form of a customer experience ever faced- and I've stayed at over 50 hotels. It makes you feel embarrassed and like a criminal which is extremely unpleasant.In comparison the next wonderful hotel we stayed in at Vietnam gets housekeeping to check the room for any belongings you might have missed or forgotten.This feedback was given in previous Google reviews and still happens, but to make matters far worse I'd already paid the bill, but had given housekeeping the items from the mini bar and bath bomb so my little boys wouldn't touch or open them- due to just one of the lack of communication skills here- they sent out a staff member with a eftpos machine to try charging them to me.Several times during the stay, housekeeping didn't refill the shower gel, toilet paper rolls or actually clean the floor, replace the correct amount of towels for the 4 guests in the room, each time I had to make individual requests through the app. The internet constantly drops out, although the IT guy who hooked up my playstation was helpful, most of the staff are also helpful, management seems to be just lip service and doesn't actually take any feedback seriously- otherwise you wouldn't have to keep on saying things. Next was power tools being used outside the room at 8.30pm- no notice, not great when you have little kids trying to sleep.On the good side, Tom and Jerry were amazing with the buggies dropping off to the main street and the other hotel with the waterpark, Chelsea at the Kati Restaurant itself was a standout employee who goes above and beyond for all guests, Iron Chef was great but his staff in the restaurant seriously let him down- see separate review on the restaurant. The package was booked through luxury Escapes and was slightly different from what should have been provided, the rooms are not a upgrade and are tiny, would be more suitable for 2 adults only, not additional 2 little kids 6 and 4. This was supposed to be a nice relaxing time but with the ongoing issues daily between the hotel or restaurant was a struggle, and I'd definitely not recommend this hotel as a place to stay unfortunately. The gym equipment was great, but it's hot and they could turn the air conditioning cooler, the kids room next door is a great idea. The pool most days although raining, they didn't have the umbrellas up, or clean towels for guests. This is an extremely honest but disappointing review due to the failures and higher expectations 😕

Great experience, value of money, relaxing- well-designed room landscape- very nice staffs with service minds- can also use The Sands' facilities- couple and family are welcome- good spa package promotion- hotel application is available with live chat support

I'm from Hong Kong, stayed at the hotel from August 26 to September 3. The hotel staff's service attitude was very good and friendly, and the room was kept clean. The catering staff also remembered our room number and favorite drinks during breakfast every morning, as did the staff in all departments. Very good!The scenery at the sunset hotel is also very charming

We enjoyed 7 nights here at the newly opened Little Shore resort in Khao Lak. The resort facilities and staff were all first class. Our room was beautifully appointed with its own private pool and wonderful views across the ocean. We ate at all of the restaurants and all our meals were fantastic, very tasty and plentiful. The resort pools and gymnasium were also great. But probably the best part of our stay was the kind, courteous and friendly staff. Everyone of them always gave us a friendly greeting and warm smile - nothing wasn't ever too much trouble. Have to put out a special thank you to Tom, Jerry and 'Mr T' who are the first to greet you on arrival, never forgetting your name each time they see you. A special thanks to all of the wait staff at the restaurants but especially Chelsea, Polla, Kevin, Gadter and Chutima in the Kati Restaurant, they always brightened our day. Thank you Little Shore, we hope to be back on day soon ❣

Go there with your eyes closed, staff at the top, incredible resort...One word: AMAZING

If I could give this more stars I would. From the moment we arrived we felt like royalty, a beautiful friendly welcome.The rooms are just incredible and to have your own private pool that overlooked the ocean was perfect way to unwind.All the staff are so attentive and know you by name. Tom and Jerry were always a pleasure to see each day. Their enthusiasm and happiness is contagious.They take dietary requirements seriously and even chased me down one morning at breakfast when I put something on my plate that may have been a risk.On the food. It was incredible we had dinners included and were able to choose from restaurants at their sister resort as well.We were already looking at booking our next getaway to Little Shore before we left.
