This was a great hotel! It was quiet and peaceful, and very good location for seeing things in the museum/historic district. The staff at the hotel were very helpful: giving directions, mailing postcards, etc. …

This is a truly special place. We LOVED our stay and are so grateful to the incredible staff for all the ways they helped us out (staying up late to check us in past midnight, getting up at 4am to call us a taxi when we left, great restaurant and shopping recommendations, etc!). The space is so unique and really cool. Beautiful decor with a lot of history behind it. Our room was super cozy - plenty of space, big wonderful tub, very comfy king bed. Location is along a pretty busy street, but it wasn't noisy for us. It's very central, which is great - 10-20 minute cab or tuk tuk rides to so many great destinations. Bangkok Publishing Residence is one of a kind! Highly recommended.

My wife and I recently spent three nights at the BPR, and it was an experience bordering on perfection. This was our third visit to Bangkok, and we desired a retreat from the bustling Sukhumvit area. Choosing this serene yet conveniently accessible part of town proved to be the wisest decision we made.BPR may not cater to everyone's taste, but for those travellers who cherish history and yearn to immerse themselves in the essence of old Bangkok, this residence is an ideal haven. This is not a conventional five-star hotel; instead, it offers a more private and intimate experience. It’s crucial for potential guests to understand and respect that BPR operates as a residence, not a typical hotel. Adherence to house rules and mindfulness of its unique setting are essential.I wouldn’t recommend BPR to everyone, but I fervently encourage those who appreciate and enjoy such unique experiences to consider it. A special note of gratitude goes to Alice, who was consistently accommodating and attentive, ensuring our stay was memorable. We shall undoubtedly return!

This place was a delight to stay at. The rooms are so beautiful and the design of the whole place feels antique. The history behind the building is seen through relics of the past, posters and more. The beds were comfy and the staff was super friendly.

First impressions: like stepping back in time, into a museum. The history of this small boutique hotel ( a former publishing company) is evident in every corner, and the display of artefacts is thoughtful and elegant. …

This extraordinary place is an example of a truly committed team who are devoted to provide the guests with a memorable experience. The aesthetic choices are carefully considered and celebrate the historic past of the building. The sage ghosts of printing past roam these beloved hallways and they watch over guests attuned to their fine sense of taste, the level of service by the staff is unparalleled, even so called 5 star luxury brands cannot compare to the warm genuine, human care practiced here.

Very rude person who opened the door. We came to have a look at the room and the property as we intend to book this place. We saw this rather interesting property online and we thought we’ll have a look since we are already in the area. After being told that they are full, we graciously asked if we can at least just have a quick look at the common spaces just to get a feel of the property. But this guy quickly shut the door while saying “no, no”. If he does not speak English or don’t understand anything, he should at least get someone, rather than just shutting the door like we’re beggars asking for money. We came here to bring in business. We plan to book for 5 rooms. Appalling behaviour. You need to train your staff.
