Here we chose a double villa with a private pool and the truth is that we had luxury despite the fact that some things needed to be improved, such as the window and door closures, the smells from the pipes that are quite strong at times, or the Air conditioning in the superior room that left a lot to be desired.Even so, the area that was not the villa also looked very nice, a large pool, cabins each with its own piece of terrace, a garden where you could eat... The staff was always smiling and willing to help with any request and the The food that we ordered via WhatsApp and that they brought to the villa was delicious.The location issue is a separate issue, the hotel is in front of the Mandalika circuit and in the middle of nowhere, so you have to get around by motorcycle or taxi, we were there for 2 days and we decided to take them relaxing without doing much. , we decided to move by car, you just had to ask at reception and they will take you wherever you want, if it is to the nearest town that is less than 10 minutes away, they charged you 50,000 rupees and they charged you for all the trips at check-out.The truth is that despite some small things, this hotel is recommended to spend a few pleasant days in the south of Lombok.

The greatest customer service I have EVER experienced. Staff were absolutely amazing! Through WhatsApp, you can communicate every want and need, and they are so happy to help. This feature alone is enough of a reason to stay at Batatu! The resort is modern, beautiful and well-maintained. As it’s adults only, it is so peaceful and relaxing. The food is good, too! Breakfast included and you get SO much. Batatu is a 5 minute drive from Kuta and they provide a driver (50k one way) or bikes for hire. 10/10 would definitely recommend here for couples or small groups.

Super beautiful resort, we received a free upgrade to a luxury villa with swimming pool. Unfortunately, my friend got food poisoning from dinner, so a doctor had to come. Fortunately, the hotel was able to arrange this. I have read several reviews that other guests have become ill from the food so be careful.

We spent 3 nights here. Due to the fact that all the normal apartments/rooms were overbooked, we received a free upgrade for the villa, which we were very happy about! :) The staff is very friendly and helpful.However, what we liked less and also leads to this rating is the food. The breakfast in and of itself was delicious. However, we got food poisoning and a fever from the avocado, tomato and feta cheese toasts. The taste of the remaining menu items we ordered (chicken fried rice, chicken teriyaki) also left something to be desired. In our opinion, good cuisine is part of such a resort.

Perfect stay at Batatu Resort.After reading some negative reviews, I was hesitant to book but I don't regret it at all, on the contrary! The villas are superb, you feel incredibly good there, I did not at all find that the villas were aging as some people have indicated. Likewise, the road leading to the hotel is criticized by many people. In reality, it is a dirt road that is not at all disturbing. On the contrary, it's nice not to have bitumen everywhere!I highly recommend the hotel, for me everything was perfect: the staff, the scooter rented by the establishment, the delicious food and of course the villa!

A very nice resort with great villas. We stayed in Villa 6 and fell in love with the layout and interior. The employees are very competent and friendly. All orders are placed via WhatsApp, making things much easier. Great concept!The food on offer is good and reasonably priced.

We enjoyed staying at the resort so much. We had the Vila Nr. 13 that is ideal for 4 adults, we were in 5 with an aditional bed in one of the two rooms. We had a private pool and the ambient is really nice. The resort stuff is extremly friendly and helpful, they arranged everything to our full satisfaction. Every day, we were asked what type of service we would like to receive, everything through whatsapp. The price is ok, the ambient is beautiful and everything is super clean. Only downside is the distance to the center and the last 500m on an unpaved road. As everybody needs a scooter in Kuta to move around, this was not a problem for us.

It's a beautiful place just 8 minutes from Kuta by motorbike. I really enjoyed my stay, the bungalow had a great ensuite bathroom. The staff is friendly and helpful. I recommend it.

Stayed for 4 nights in a villa. One of the nicer places we have stayed at, rooms and complex are gorgeous! Great value, especially when coming from North America! Very spacious and beautiful.Food is also good, especially considering menu size and that is all made at hotel. Very convenient food access, would do breakfast and lunch at hotel usually. Avocado toast was good for breakfast. Mini bar is also fair pricing with diverse options including nice wine.Service is good, friendly, punctual with it easy to communicate over WhatsApp.Hotel also did our laundry and arranged a ride back to Bangsal.Occasional race track noise was completely fine and barely noticeable. Not a walkable location, but motor biking was easy with the roads smooth and relatively quiet. Easy to get into town.

A dream!!! We had booked a Bungalow but upon our arrival we were given a free upgrade to the Villa... There are no words to describe the wonder, we spent 3 wonderful days! Huge villa, in full Balinese style, with private pool, kitchen and living room; large bedroom with air conditioning, huge bathroom with tub, shower and double sinks. Breakfast and dinner were always served inside the Villa (excellent among other things) and through a very convenient WhatsApp service you can request anything from the restaurant and any other service you want, such as scooter rental or a taxi or daily cleaning. I would like to go back there immediately!!!

Facilities and service are great. The location is a bit less than ideal. It is very close to the motor circuit so expect loud engine noises during the day. Maybe the facilities could put in a water fall or something to help dampen the noise? Also walked over to check out the circuit and encountered a couple scary dogs on the road. I think if you are using just to sleep, great value. If you expect to relax at the pool, not ideal.

A tastefully decorated hotel, the villas are simply magnificent with attentive staff. The catering service is quality with affordable prices.Regarding the location, it is close to the town of Kuta and very quiet.
