This place is the best place for me. The owner is very friendly and gives a perfect impression. He hangs out like a close friend of mine even though he is the owner. I highly recommend this place. EKAS PANORAMA. And in the area near here, the place is still very natural. Thank you Max. U are Legend.

A hotel to absolutely avoid! We had booked for 7 people and we only had 6 beds. When we pointed this out to him, he offered us an extra bed which no longer allowed us to move around in the main room. The owner did not want to accept our dissatisfaction and friends us out!The air conditioning did not work, the French doors did not close, the parasol on the terrace in tatters, the water in the swimming pool was more than cloudy and the depth of more than half would only have allowed one to soak one's feet, which is what we didn't even dare to do it. The surroundings resemble an open dump. Delighted not to have stayed in this dump with staff as unfriendly as the surrounding area!We should have read ALL the comments on Booking as well as the boss's responses which demonstrate the lack of respect and consideration for his customers

It's best to think carefully if you want to come here, it's not worth the room rate, the location is so remote, the food isn't tasty to my taste... What's most annoying is that the water flow is very small so taking a shower can't be clean

We spent 4 wonderful days in this little oasis that seems to have been created for surfers, but welcomes anyone with the same warmth. Max made us feel at home, filled us with advice on places to visit, organized a wonderful boat trip for us and always made sure everything went smoothly. The structure is very nice in line with the mood of the place, cushions everywhere where you can rest, live music every evening during dinner (Max's wife has a superstar voice...) and decidedly delicious food. A pleasant discovery!

We stopped while passing by Ekas. The owner was very helpful in arranging a surf lesson for us (even if we were not staying at the place) and sharing many tips for the area. Great atmosphere and wonderful sea view. Lunch was very nice.

The sunset and the view as well as the location near the bay is really nice. The pasta was fabulous. The boat leaves twice a day for the surf. The staff was passive and a general introduction to their services was lacking. The rooms are basic and not matching the price during high season if compared with similar options in the area.

Max and all staff was very welcoming and helpfull. Resort in nice quiet Village Ekas. Nearby to Paradise beach, we did Pink beach with the best snorkeling trip in Lombok. We exted our stay, had really noce breakfast. Nice bungalows with A/C, basic and hot water. Pool was clean and refreshing, nice place for sunset too. Thank you!

Epic spot! Came here for 1 night but extended for a second. The owner (Max) was super friendly and really helpful.... Rooms were clean and comfy, pool was insane, and Tobby (puppy) was a legend.... Boat shuttle up to waves takes about 12minutes with some serious views... Look forward to next stay 🙏

Stayed there a few months ago, we booked with some friends for 3 night but after the first and horrible night we left because it was far from what we expected. Don't bother go to Ekas Surf Resort straight away don't lose your time.Room was dirty, extra mattress just put randomly on the floor, door of the bathroom cannot close and stay open, no pressure in the bathroom.It's so noisy between the dogs barking all night and the mosque next door, and an AC that barely works, no of us could sleep.We asked to rent boards multiple times for the next morning and gave the dimensions of the boards we needed, the "surf guide/boat driver" said no problem he would bring it the next morning. The owner, his friends and the surf guide kept drinking with loud music til late at night. Next morning, the boat guy arrives completely hangover 30min late, with no boards and say he forgot. I had to accompany this drunk guy who woke up 5min earlier to take the board on his motorbike to his house. So all the group left with 1h delay for surfing.After this compilation of bad experiences we decided to leave from this place and told the owner who threatened to call the police if we don't pay the 2 next nights. It's not like we restrained other customers of booking the place, it was half empty anyway.Sort your business out, this place could be good but the way it's managed is a shame.To finish on a positive point, the rest of the staff was very nice, that's the only reason why I put 2 stars.

It's a well set up place in nice location by the water. Loved the water fountain in the bathroom and the table for eating outside your room. Stunning sunsets over the fishing boats. But just a few things. First the pool was heavily chlorinated. Please learn basic pool maintenance re acid/ph/free chlorobe etc. It's not hard. Such a waste of one of the best hotel pools I have seen here and its toxic as is. Second you have a very cute puppy but it's idea of fun is biting ankles and barking at night. Needs to learn discipline. Third It's a fishing village. Serve fish. Forth, why do 8.30-10.30 breakfast and a 9.30 checkout. Makes no sense. Also people surfing want early breakfast. Fifth, lots of mossies so mesh the vents and gaps in bathroom. Finally, improve the access road. We almost turned round and left. First impressions matter.

Faded glory! I can believe that this was once a little paradise, but they have completely destroyed it. It is anything but what you see in the photos. Bad experience with a lot of noise at night. The mosque, the dogs that bark, the boats that make a lot of noise... the crew that doesn't speak a word of English... all respect for them, but I don't understand why as a Western owner you don't choose a manager who can speak some English. Now, I don't like writing reviews like that, but I do it to protect visitors from a bad experience and hopefully this can be a wake up call for the owners.

We booked as a family looking at the pool Photos and how we World spend our Time by the pool Only to Find it a green soupThe owner was not around, and the staff Said he was in Bali, which looking at other Reviews wasnt a bad thing after All.The AC in the room hadnt Been serviced ever, so we slept in our own sweat listening to the mosque.All night the boat engines roared aloud Having had thier silencers taken off, packs of dogs added to the effect. I could go on and on…The staff only accepted cash and couldnt offer a discount nor breakfast. Why are you in the hotel industry!Dont stay here.

A very beautiful view but that's not all.We were delighted to find "only" rat droppings in our room... The staff members do not speak a word of English and make no effort. A splendid pile of rubble and garbage next to our bungalow (where do the rats come from?). But still a tasteless breakfast, an indoor swimming pool and the highlight of the show: we were rented a scooter without brakes and with deflated tires, for which we would still be charged.Flee this place, if you come to the area go to the Ekas Surf Resort, it's the same price and it's very good.

A disappointment. Not as expected. Poor restaurant, many dishes and drinks not available. Staff is super nice but speaks poor English.Cash payment only, no card.Wifi works slowly or not....
