The bungalow was beautiful. Unfortunately no fridge or kettle. Since the location is a bit out of the way and there is no opportunity to shop nearby, a refrigerator would be very beneficial. We don't drive a scooter and it takes about 15 minutes to walk to the "city" of Amed. There was no service (room cleaning) at all. Even the trash cans and ashtrays weren't emptied. The breakfast was ok and typical of the country. 5 years ago the service was significantly better with other employees. That's why we came back. Too bad! We moved out again after two nights. However, processing the refund went smoothly.

I loved this place. Really peaceful, beautiful little garden, just back from a quiet beach. I stayed in the gorgeous wooden house, no mosquitoes in August . Huge comfy bed, sound of the waves, flowers everywhere and just lovely helpful staff and owner

I paid for the slightly larger room (to the left of the reception) - great size, comfy, clean, nice open air bathroom too.Location is great, nice and quiet and seconds away from the beach.Wayan and the team are so friendly and easy to deal with, organising taxi, scooter, snorkelling gear for me so quickly. I extended three times and stayed for a week - Amed is beautiful!

Calm and green. 5 minutes walk from the sea where the view of Arung is magnificent. 15 minutes from Amed beach. Bring a scooter. Arrival of the canoes every morning at daybreak. Such a quiet place by the sea in Amed is rare.

Great accommodation, lovely staff and cute garden under the frangipani trees. Charming wooden bungalow, you don't have to worry about the little animals but like everywhere in the tropical zone, especially near the rice fields. Breakfast is great. Close to Amed but quiet.

You get what you pay for. It looks like there’s 6 rooms to stay in. We were in one at the far left end of the grass area and it was rough. Mosquitoes everywhere. Room was super dark cause one of the overhead lights was broken and the nightstand lamp didn’t have an adapter to the wall. It’s a wooden shack and there were gaps in the wall. AC did not work well due to the gaps. If we hadn’t arrived late, we would have moved that night and not stayed. There were insects inside and everywhere. Mosquito netting is a must. It was pretty dirty. Dead bugs and dirt. Bedding smelled like old sweat, like it had been left damp for too long. At 4am, sounded like there was rodents or a pest chewing on something in the roof.Service: they gave you a welcome drink but didn’t come by to clear it until the next day.I will give them credit that they didn’t charge extra for me checking out early.I will say, we might have just gotten the worst room. Some of the other building looked like they had solid walls and might not have been a problem. You have to walk down a muddy path to get to this place. it is not beachfront despite what photos might say.
