We spent 5 wonderful nights at Mimpi Tulamben. Our original plan was to stay only for 3 nights but we loved this place so much we decided to stay until the last day before our flight back home.There is so much to love about Mimpi Tulamben:Location: The location is awesome, right on the beach and close to all major dive sites eg. Liberty wreck, the drop off wall, coral garden.Room: We stayed at the beach front villa - It was spacious, clean, had a private garden and a lounging pavilion over looking the ocean. The bathroom even had a big deep sink to wash dive equipment. The shower was strong and warm and overall the room had great amenity.Food: breakfast had good variation and all tasted very good.Diving: the dive team was super friendly, they had great flexibility in their planning and tailored the sites, the number of dives and the time of the dives to our preference. Shout out to our dive guide Teja for simply being amazing and had eagle eyes for tiny tiny nudis.Really I couldn’t think of anything that was negative about our stay! We will sure come back again or maybe visit their sister resort in Menjangan next time. 😊

The Mimpi resort at Tulamben was an amazing, diverse relaxing destination. We were able to relax, be adventurous, partake in spa activities, and just enjoy the scenery. The staff are exceptionally attentive and helpful.Heaps of diving footsteps from the door of our room, the dive guides were exceptional. They knew the local reef, were very safety conscious, looked out for their guests and best of all, knew where all the marine creatures were and show cases the underwater world. We saw everything from Mantas shrimp, Spanish dancer slugs, lobster, turtle, nudibranchs, sharks - everything really. The other dive centres were busy, Mimpi provided a personalised experience with no more than 3 of us on each dive with a guide.I’ll be back.

On the feedback card, the question was, "Is there anything to improve?" Not at all.Mimpi exceeded expectations. The facilities are immaculate and are managed by experienced and friendly staff. The ocean view from the restaurant matches the taste and affordability of the food; excellent. The guided dive tours are also reasonable in price and handled by a knowledgeable team.

Very nice hotel, the view is breathtaking over the sea, especially in the morning at breakfast which is also excellent.The swimming pool is very good, the service too.Big negative point for me which is not specified when you reserve their rooms (direct reservation).The villas are small, suitable for two but absolutely not for 3 (which we were and they charge €25 even for a child). For the garden villa, it is indicated 28m2 but the surface area of the room itself must be approximately 10m2. Private outdoor space should probably be counted in the 28.

I stayed one night with friends. On the plus side, friendly service, good diving, and parking. On the downside, there is virtually no soundproofing between rooms, and the areas around the pool and beach should be cleaned more often. The hotel has a lot of potential, but it could use some renovation.

Book this hotel last minute in high season. They’re super friendly staff always helpful. It’s an outdated hotel but still in a good shape. Super clean. Love the ambience and you can see the sunrise from the back of the hotel.

We stayed at Mimpi for 3 D/N and it was a very good experience. The food is great, we personally met the chef to thank him. The only place in Tulamben were we found great food options and amazing taste. The staff is very friendly and has a great service for our needs. The rooms are beautiful and were cleaned everyday. The location is awesome and close to all the amazing dive sites. They also provided free drinking water stations. Love their plastic free policy.The only thing which could be improved is the quality of hair dryer and addition of soft bedroom pillows. Overall, really enjoyed our stay and the scuba certification course.

My partner and I stayed for two nights at Mimpi Resort Tulamben in the Oceanview Courtyard Villa. The villa was spacious, featuring an outdoor deck for enjoying the sunrise, an outdoor shower, and a Balinese-style lounge perfect for unwinding after a day of sightseeing in Tulamben.Dining at the resort’s restaurant was a delight; breakfast was à la carte with continuous tea and coffee, and there was a happy hour offering house wine and cocktails. The resort's attached dive center made it easy for us to join a starter diving class. We also appreciated the water fountains available for refilling bottles, including the provided glass bottles.We look forward to returning soon!
