Good experience staying at Frangky's Homestay with a comfortable room and delicious food prepared. Frangky also have a package for dolphins' tour for his guests. For transportation to Bunaken, we chartered a private boat arranged by Frangky with 100k IDR per person from Bahawo Jetty, 30 mins from Manado.

getting there :by Franky's boat = 100k per pax and pickup point is 30mins drive/gojek/grab away from manado at Bahowo Mangrove Park.alternatively, go to map point named "public boat pier to bunaken" near Celebes Hotel. confirmed by other guest that they departed at 1430hospitality :top notch! as per other reviewerslocation :not beachfront but a few strides awayrooms :aircond surcharge 50k per day. some rooms are humid at night. no toiletries provided. bring your own or buy from the island's grocery "house" a bit further down the road. franky provides fresh water refills and hot water.activities :dolphin + snorkelling tour/diving (by 4Sisters Divers which is the cheapest on that side of the island. 850k for 2 dives)/rent Franky's moped for 100k per day and scoot around the islandgetting back to manado : we got a special arrangement since his staff are going back to manado as well so we paid 100k per person but he dropped us at Karangria beach which is a lot nearer to manado's centre instead of Bahowo. other than that you're gonna have to reconfirm with him. you can also ask him about the public boat departure time (morning i think)

Frangky made our stay in Bunaken memorable, he is a very friendly man, very helpful. The meals were all incredibly good and plentiful. We enjoyed the air con in the room. And we did one of our best tours with the dolphin and snorkeling trip which will leave an unforgettable memory of this adventure.Thank you very much to you Frangky, as well as to your wife for these wonderful meals and your more than warm welcome in your house.We only can reckon this place to stay as longer as much because that was the best so far.Sara & Gauthier

I had a very nice time on the Bunaken with a friend and Frangkys Homestay was a great place to stay!Our room was spacious and clean, the food was excellent, laundry was returned the same day.You can also book dolphin tours at Frangky.Can also warmly recommend the accommodation to divers.

Warm welcome, the cuisine is truly delicious and varied at all meals, breakfast included.Frangky and his family are very welcoming, kind and smiling.The rooms are simple and good. We had air conditioning.Thank you for everything, we loved our stay there.

The room is simple, but perfectly adequate and clean. Frangky is super nice and funny. I had the best dolphin tour with Frangky and the captain Fikki. The food is also super tasty. THANK YOU FOR EVERYTHING! I miss Bunaken a lot and hope to be able to come again.

A very pleasant stay! The food was excellent, the rooms simple but clean and with air conditioning, the boat tours exceptional (dolphins, fishing, snorkeling). Frangky and his family do everything to ensure that you have the best possible stay, you feel at home there
