Superb place, Stefen is adorable, the food is delicious, good advice. In short, I would go back without hesitation.A true corner of paradise!!

Stefen made us feel right at home here. He is incredibly nice and attentive and makes you feel like part of the family.The room and common area was very clean and comfortable. We did a few (amazing) snorkeling trips, rented a scooter and had all of our meals here. I think I will be dreaming of the lovely food for the next few months.We were very sad to have to leave. We already extended our stay by one night and if we had had more time, I think we would have stayed even longer.

Best homestay to stay in Bunaken. Everybody is so nice and can help you with everything. Easy boat charter for snorkeling and directly by the homestay is mc bunaken for diving. The food is amazing, we ate everyday in the homestay.

Everything was perfect! Many thanks to Stephen for his hospitality and kindness. The food here is just perfect 😍 super good value for money. We will come back here when we return to Bunaken. Many thanks again Stephen and you have a little family 😊

We had an unbelievable stay at Stephen's place :- Rooms are clean and comfortable.- A/C is available. Yes it costs a little extra but it's very much worth it given the island's high temperatures.- Stephen is an amazing host, nice and genuine. We highly appreciated that he wasn't trying to oversell activities. Instead, he listen to your needs and gives suggestions.- Guests can rent a scooter and snorkeling equipment for the day.- The food prepared by Missi and the rest of the family is exquisite.- El Homestay is a nice spot to meet other travelers. We were lucky to share our stay with an amazing couple of French travelers.We're already looking forward to coming back!Sebastien

We 100% recommend that you come to Stephen and his family during your visit to Bunaken. We extended our stay because we felt so good there. Stephen is very attentive and gave us very good advice. The food was amazing 😋. You can rent snorkelling equipment or scooters directly from the homestay. They also have their own boat to go on excursions.Thanks again for the welcome Terima Kasih!

EL homestay is so nice that we stayed 8 nights instead of 3 planned. Stephen, the owner, was so nice and pleasant that we (2 adults and 2 kids) felt at home. He gave us very good tips to discover bunaken. We recommend to eat all meals there because they are excellent and copious. We had the pleasure to listen Stephen playing guitar few times during dinners... perfect!
