Very good bedding but the dormitory toilets are in the same room as the shower and the sink which is not very practical for a dormitory. In addition, there is no common area in the shade, which is quite a shame for a hostel.

Everything would be fine, but the smell of urine in the room is not for the better!The downside is the lack of a toilet in the room. People try to pee in bottles and apparently miss 🤷🏼♂️

Perfect location and nice setting, great staff with drinking water available and tea/coffee. full breakfast for 35k with the best juice I've had so far. I was in the dormitory, the air conditioning is not very strong and there is a little lack of ventilation. comfortable bed with towel provided, no hot water in the shower

Lovely garden, kind staff, free coffee and tea service, nice location to access anywhere in the island. Everything was good enough to stay. Japanese style pancake breakfast was also lovely.

Excellent location, lovely staff, the room was really nice, the only flaw is that if you are on the second floor you have to go to the ground floor to go to the bathroom. But it wasn't annoying only if you wake up during the night and are lazy to take the stairs 😂 I recommend it and I highly recommend good value for money unlike many places on the island. Thanks guys see you soon

We originally booked 1 night at Old Village but ended up extending for 3 more nights because we loved the place so much. The location is extremely walkable from the port (less than 10 minutes) and both the east and west side beaches. You are located near the mosque but the sound is muffled and ends relatively quickly now that Ramadan is over. The team at Old Village actually provides earplugs in the room that you can use if you fear the noise will wake you.Each room has its own little terrace seating area where you can sit and enjoy the lush, green backyard and singing of birds while you drink your coffee or tea (tea and coffee are provided for free throughout the day! And they have a water tank where you can fill your bottle). We stayed in a downstairs room with attached bathroom and an upstairs room with separated private bathroom and both were very spacious and very clean, with the right amount of furniture to not be cluttered but helpful.And the staff is absolutely 10/10 amazing. They are so friendly and always greet you with a smile. It’s a pleasure to interact with them every day.
