We spent 5 awesome days at Happy Dive Retreat.The bungalows are very good, by the sea. Claudia, the manager is adorable and a great diving teacher!

I was just here for Diving and I really loved it!Claudia is very passionated and after all the years here she seems to know every rock and will spot all the amazing stuff that you can find here!Especially the night dive in the muck was very beautiful with many small and exotic stuff, It never got boring the whole 70 min :)And also the healthy corals for the island dives are impressive!

We stayed 5 nights and thoroughly enjoyed our time at HDR. The diving was fantastic with 8 different dive spots visited across our stay including a wreck and night dive which we would highly recommend! Claudia is an amazing guide and is very professional, we always felt safe and well looked after both at sea and on land. Claudia was also extremely helpful in organizing transport for us and providing advice on things do do beyond our time with her Team. A very enjoyable and personal dive retreat experience, we highly recommend!

Claudia is an absolute legend and made our stay so valuable and unforgettable. She is so knowledgeable about the area and knew the dive sites inside out, making our diving experience absolutely seamless. Diving here is incredible, no two dive sites are the same, and the coral and fish life are so healthy and vibrant. Highly recommend the night and wreck dives too. Restaurant food is good and rooms are comfortable, looking straight out to the ocean. Beautiful sunsets. Would highly recommend diving and staying with Claudia!

We stayed and dived for one week. Reasonable prices, good service always with a smile and incredible diving. Claudia is truly passionate and it shows: world-class diving at beautiful and diverse sites, long dives, plenty of amazing critters!

What a nice retreat. Claudia is excellent and her staff is very nice as well. Diving with Claudia was very good! She is a very good instructor!|The only downside: There is basically NOTHING ELSE! A magnificent place to spend a few days. Claudia listens very closely to her customers and always gives good advice. His team is top notch and always very discreet. In the evening, a buffet is offered to guests and everything is always very good.We were also able to discover the seabed in the surrounding area. We will keep a wonderful memory of it!

We only went there for dinner and frankly it's expensive andit's not very good. The gado gado was bland and uninteresting, the chicken curry was passable.We are disappointed although we were welcomed as in a luxury establishment.The location is great, the decor....also but we went there to eat....

I spent a week at the happy dive retreat and loved it!! We are removed from the world, in peace, in a small personal bungalow, in front of a private pontoon to access the boat and the corals right before our eyes, a dream! The dives with Claudia were fantastic, we saw incredible animals (eagle rays, jenkins whiprays, octopus, seahorses, tons and tons of nudibranchs, leaf scorpion fish and so many more!)The staff was very friendly and taught me lots of Indonesian words. The restaurant was very good and the bungalows comfortable! The shower didn't have hot water but it wasn't necessary to be honest! As for the air conditioning, it was not necessary either because the nights are almost cool thanks to the wind from the coast.If, like me, you have some difficulty getting to your destination because Maumere airport is closed due to a capricious volcano, don't let that discourage you! Claudia will help you arrange everything to get you to Larantuka airport and after you are only 2-2.5 hours away, she can send you a driver.Thank you again Claudia for this wonderful stay!
