Overall score from 1-10: (3-4 out of 10)Location 3/10 (road damaged by rocks, access by 1 car)Room 5/10 (no air conditioning so it's really hot during the day, and hot at night because the door is closed and the wind doesn't come in, there's a fan, lots of flies which are really annoying, the water is yellow, it's said to be lake water, there are no clothes hangers)Breakfast 1/10 (very inappropriate choice of fried rice / noodles when choosing noodles turned out to be instant noodles, no choice of additional drinks / deserts such as bread, fruit, pudding)The only thing that's good is the view, the lake and mountains are really good, but the room price is not commensurate with the room & facilities.

We stayed in one of their tents, they were cosy and comfortable. Frankie is a kind and helpful host. They shared bathrooms are basic but clean and all you need. The views are stunning. The only thing is the road to reach the place, it’s a bumpy 1km ride, go easy! But totally worth it.

The view is good, you can clearly see the view of the mountains & lake... The staff & owner are very friendly,I stayed at the bamboo house, complete facilities, clean & very comfortable rooms. Recommended for relaxing with family & couples. Access is also easy even though the road is a bit gravelly. Continued success Samuh Camp 👍👍.

Overnight stay before sunrise trek and jeep ride. Not 100 % what was expected and the infrastructure may be a little tired however the welcome was great the service that same and the view to die for. The beds were super comfortable and the fire pits made for a pleasant evening.

The room floor was dirty, there was no table, no clothes hangers. SO MANY FLIES IN THE ROOM BANGEEEETT make me uncomfortable😭😭😭😭 NOT WORTH THE PRICE, WILL BE THE FIRST AND THE LAST STAY

Nobody expects a 5 star resort up here but for what it is the camp is really wonderful. We really enjoyed our time here and the staff were incredibly friendly to us and helped us out with every request. We would come back at any time and are glad we did Thank you very much for having booked this camp for the good time and we were more than satisfied and can only be recommended.

We had the most amazing time at Samuh Camp. The rooms were so clean & the view outside our room was just beautiful. Frank & his staff made us feel so so welcome & they lit a fireplace for us at night. I wish we could have stayed longer.

My family and I stayed in a joglo type house. With a price of 800k a night, the facilities provided are very complete and worth it. The room is spacious, the additional extra bed is also large (double bed size), the bathroom is clean & large with hot shower, smart TV that can open Netflix/YouTube/etc., you can get a welcome drink of tea and coffee, breakfast of fried rice, and The stunning view of the mountain + Lake Batur can be seen directly from the front of the room😍The downside is because it's onion planting season so there are lots of flies. But at night there are no flies.Overall, I highly recommend u to take Rumah Joglo if you stay here👍 Thank you Mrs. Asih as the owner & Bli Wayan as the staff for providing good and friendly service🙏

The view and place are good, but there are many minuses, starting from the room smelling of urine and a musty smell, the management is very poor, like when I just came there at 18.30 the electricity went out until 9pm before it turned on, they said the credit had run out but it took a long time to look for credit even though there was one Indomart below and why wasn't it checked in the afternoon even though I already knew there were guests coming in, and in the morning the electricity was also turned off so I couldn't charge it. I ordered breakfast at 7.19 (I had promised to eat at that time last night) but it arrived at 8.38 and I still have proof of the chat because I asked about the food, even though the food was only fried rice and hot tea, then it wasn't tasty and was already cold, the glass dirty too. The waiter was friendly but didn't work fast enough. Please fix it, it's a shame the place is nice but that's how the service is🙏🏻
