This is a beautiful newly built open/modern villa that is tastefully decorated with teak furniture & local Balinese artwork & handicraft. Even though the location of the villa is 15-20 minutes from center of Ubud by car (used Grab, similar to Uber), I liked being away from the traffic & city noise & enjoyed the peaceful setting overlooking the rice terraces. I woke up every morning & had breakfast on the poolside terrace, enjoying the view & the peaceful setting.The staff at the villa are professional with typical Balinese friendliness & hospitality. Deepak & Noyman checked us in on arrival, helped us with our luggage & got us settled into our villa. Yuli is in charge of the main common area & will cook and serve you breakfast every morning. She can also arrange outside laundry service for you.Our villa was the bigger studio villa with a private enclosed garden & pool. Note that the villa is multiple levels & you will need to go up & down stairs to get around. At night, the stairs are nicely lit.I really, really enjoyed staying at Serenity Private Villa & will stay there again in the future whenever I am in Ubud. Terimah kasi banyak!!!

We had the one with the private pool and a view of the rice fields. The room is beautiful and the view of the rice fields is breathtaking.However, we encountered some inconvenience with a member of staff.One of the villa's air conditioning does not work properly (the one next to the bed). Water flowed and landed directly on the telephone and on the electrical outlets...After reporting the problem to the team member, they came into the room forgetting to lock the villa door, moved the bedside tables without putting them back in their place and above all, they forgot a set of keys corresponding to all the rooms in the villas...On the first day of our arrival at the villa, in the evening, we asked a member of staff to drop us off at a restaurant which was 10 minutes from the villa. He asked us 40ke for 2 people. We gave him 50. Not having any change on him, he told us to return the difference when we returned from the restaurant. Not having seen him when we returned, we decided to sort it out later when we saw him.This same person told us that we will not have the right to a breakfast even if we pay extra even though it was clearly indicated to the contrary on the reservation!The next day we came across a nice lady who confirmed to us that breakfast was possible by paying an additional cost.On the last day of our stay, when checking out, we encountered the member of staff who dropped us off at the restaurant. We asked him if he had been able to find the 10ke change.And to our great surprise, he tells us that he has already given us back our change...I would like to point out that we have no problem leaving tips to the drivers when the trip goes well, in fact we leave them every time!!Seeing the dishonesty of this person, I had to get angry to get him to give us back our change. Given the price of the service, I don't find it normal to have this type of inconvenience! He ended up reimbursing us in front of his manager but he was in bad faith.To top it off, my cb was hacked as if by chance the days we were in the villa. I specify that my credit card was left at home (in France) and that I had paid with it before departure (online)...impossible to prove a link but it's a lot....

Magnificent villa with 5 or 6 bedrooms.As is often the case in Bali, before arriving at the Villa, you wonder if you have been the victim of a scam because the access path is somewhat disconcerting 😀 especially in the middle of the night.64€ per night.Splendid common room (living room, dining room, kitchen) next to the swimming pool, magnificently decorated, and super well equipped: you can eat there, make teas...The staff takes great care of the guests and is on site.Breakfast consisting of pancakes or omelette or Nasi goreng with fruit, it's not very filling but you find it almost everywhere in breakfasts.From the swimming pool to have breakfast, view of the countryside, it's pleasant.The room is spacious, bedding is top notch.Downside on the Lilac room, musty smell certainly due to the leak from the unrepaired shower tray: we were unable to change rooms despite our insistence. By turning on the air conditioning, the smell was reduced.As it is quite isolated, we had Gojek Food delivered.

A very nice and quiet place to stay! Not far from Ubud. Special thanks to Yuli for her excellent and very tasty breakfasts!
