Located in quiet part of the island, the hosts are just wonderful. The rooms are clean and basic but absolutely fabulous for the cost per night. Within the next month they'll also have a pretty big pool which will be a great addition to Welly Bungalow. Less than 10 mins by bike to both the north and Turtle Beach. We had two bungalows next to each other for a family of four.

Bernandu was like an angel for me. He helped me in any way possible from the single moment I stepped into his place. Very altruistic and understanding person. Also his family and the staff have always been very nice and welcoming. The bungalow was very simple but amazing. I loved everything and I found it very comfortable. I loved the area because it was peaceful, but same time close to many everything. Highly recommended.

Good value for money. On the other hand, I would not repeat it solely because of the lack of cleanliness. With the owners living there, don't they want to keep the facilities a little cleaner?

Welly bungalows was a very pleasant stay. Friendly owner greeted us and took our bags to our room. In a good location away from the main party strip but only a 5-10 minute walk which was nice. Room had a tv Netflix working and nice outdoor bathroom with good AC. Highly recommend and for a good price too

We stayed here five nights, this place is great.The bungalows are very simple but had all we needed. The A/C works well. 10 min walk to the beach, which makes it a nice and quiet place at night.The family that owns the place is super nice and they want you to have the best experience. They can make you tea and coffee whenever. There is drinking water to refill your bottle too.One of the days the owner gave me a fresh coconut off of one of the trees, and another day we got to try some honey he had just harvested! Really nice guy. Thank you!

What I saw in photos and reviews were way different than reality. In short: I don't recommend it, just stay here if you just care about the budget. What works: AC, Wi-Fi, nice host. What doesn't work: very thin walls, bungalow in the backyard of a family with kids, dark room and toilet, no sink, no hot water, salty water, far from everything.

Great value for money which is why I am giving it 5 stars. However, it is a bit far from the sea and where most of the action is happening, so you will need a bicycle. You can rent one everywhere, but the dirt roads are a bit difficult to ride in the dark (no road lights) and in the rainy season (roads filled with water). Rooms do not have warm water and low water pressure, and there is no cupboard or hangers for clothes. Wifi worked well!

The guards are very friendly, road access to the villa is not good, the quality of the rooms is quite good, the AC is cold just a bit far from the sea
