My wife and I were recommended to Villa Gumamela. We are frequent travellers who appreciate beautiful places and villas and had stayed in Conde Nest rated hotels such as in Hawaii and Bermuda, to name a few. Thus we are selective in picking our holiday spots. If I can summarize in a single sentence about this villa, I would say that if you want to have immersive experience of Bali as the Paradise on Earth, you should stay at Gumamela. You will find serenity, beauty of land and sea, birds calling, ocean waves singing, twinkling stars in the sky, irresistible food, charming hospitality from the professional attendants in the villa, instagramable spots in every corner and spaces with sparse green and 30 meter lap pool, private areas for each of the four beautiful rooms, massive master bedroom, songs from creatures of the night, colours of flowers and exquisite decorations adorning the walls and floor spaces. Have your breakfast with the morning breeze and sound of waves. Swim under the moonlight. We stayed for a week and long to come back for a longer stay. Book early as we found it difficult to get vacant slots.

As we write this message of gratitude, we realize that our words will fall short. The villa is magnificent! The views are breathtaking, and the staff is warm and accommodating. The island of Bali is fascinating, vibrant and a lot of fun but nothing compared to coming home everyday to the villa to eat an exquisite meal, take a refreshing dip in the beautiful infinity pool, get a relaxing massage or just take in the postcard views.We are a family of 6 with 4 “kids” in their 20s and chose Villa Gumamela to celebrate multiple college graduations. Our very athletic group included triathletes and competitive runners who made full use of the pool and found running paths from the villa through to town.The amazing staff arranged all of our transportation and excursions including a sunrise hike up Mt Batur, visits to waterfalls, feeding 100 year old giant coi, visiting the honey bee farm and tasting civet Luwak coffee, exploring various cultural sites, and shopping in Ubud.We give Gumamela Villa 10 stars! And, to all who read this, we encourage you to place this unique paradise on your life’s bucket list!Julie and Santiago

Villa Gumamela is truly a paradise. The villa views are breathtaking, the staff was incredibly warm and attentive, and the meals prepared by the villa staff were unbelievable. Couldn’t recommend this villa and this experience more!!

The villa is AMAZING! Our family had such a wonderful time here. The indoor/outdoor setup is incredible and there was plenty of space for everyone to be comfortable. The staff were warm, welcoming, and more than accommodating. I truly don’t know how any other vacation could match this.

We have been to Bali many times, but staying at Gumamela has made it the most memorable holiday. It is a most luxurious villa with amazing view, lovely decor and most hospitable staff members who were most willing and ready to help out and cooked us some most yummy meals.I went back to this Villa over Easter 2023 - absolutely gorgeous - it's as awesome as I have remembered it to be. Love the serene surroundings - it's unchanged from the last time I am here. I should also mentioned that there are great restaurants and places of interests nearby - no more than 5-10 minutes drive from this villa

We are not first time in Bali, but this Villa and all stuff are so kind friendly and want to help all the time ☺️It’s great place for retreat from a big city life, calm and excellent view!Full green and life-fulness!We are happy to be here with our family!Can really feel that this house have a soul!Great owner and great team!Manager Eka are very helpful and friendly!All other women and man’s also smile all the time and want to do you vacation very cool!
