I have not stayed here. I've only gone to dinner. It caught my attention that there was no one dining, the street being very busy. When they brought me dinner I understood. I ordered spaghettis aglio olio. The portion was what you see in the photo...but the price I paid didn't correspond at all to the quantity.

We stayed at this hotel for a week and it wasn't bad. The room was very nice with an independent entrance, a large and comfortable bed and a spacious stone bathroom with shower and bathtub. There is only one swimming pool, beautiful and with warm water. We only used the restaurant area in the morning for breakfast where four different types of breakfast are offered.The spa however is not available at the moment

We arrived at 2 a.m. and were greeted warmly, and we were even upgraded on the first night. The breakfast was more elaborate and delicious than the food I had at any restaurant in Indonesia. The location is in the center of Ubud, so you can walk anywhere.

Barong Resort and Spa offered a pleasant stay with its well-located position, just a short walk from the town center and the Monkey Sanctuary. Despite being tucked away in a quiet corner, there was ongoing construction that detracted from the overall peacefulness.We encountered an issue with the TV turning on and off, which took several phone calls to address. This led to three workmen being in our room for over two hours in the middle of the day, right after we had returned from hiking up Mount Batur and were hoping to rest. It turned out the problem was due to the electrics being off, which was quite frustrating and took away from our experience.The breakfasts were disappointing and I wouldn’t recommend having breakfast here. On a positive note, the staff were helpful and nice, making the rest of our stay enjoyable.

If you are looking for a place right in the centre of Ubud, close to monkey forest, Ubud Palace, market, cool cafes then this is the place for you. If you see only the room (not the resort) it's like a 5* resort suite room, very spacious, a big private open area outside the room with a comfortable sitting, huge washroom with an amazing bath tub. All facilities and things you need our available. Very thoughtfully done and even the smallest things are taken care of. It's a small resort with no much facilities just a small spa and pool but rest everything is 10/10. We opted for this for the amazing location and rooms. Very attentive & helpful staff, amazing breakfast (not a buffet) but lots of options to choose from and quite generous servings. We loved this place and will 100% recommend it. We stayed in a villa in Ubud before this but this place was our best decision.P.S - The monkeys didn't disturb us at all and yes this being in the heart of Ubud and surrounded by lot of restaurants you can hear a faint music sound in the room till 10:30, not something that will disturb you.

gracious, quiet and charming in the most unassuming way. No new age dingbat crowd, super friendly staff and excellent location in UBUD. We have been there several times and will be going back again. Very satisfying indeed, I am sure you will be as happy as we were

This was an excellent choice for me. The room was massive with a tub that I used daily. It also had a shower. The location is close to all the nice restaurants, monkey forest and bars. The staff is super nice. They offered me a snack and water every 6 hours. This hotel gives you a great value for your money. I highly recommend it.
