The Kertha, managed by an amazing and extremely helpful host, offers a very spacious room with comfortable double bed, sofa, writing desk, and wardrobe, a great bathroom with walk-in shower, sink and toilet as well as a nice balcony in the heart of Ubud.This being said, the place is not as quiet as expected from different reviews we read since the villa is next to a house with quite a few small kids, and although we love children, the constant screaming in the morning got on our nerves a bit. Plus there is construction going on at the moment which adds to the noise level plus there seems to be live band performing at night nearby with a very strong bass.A few points on the minus: the pool displayed on the pictures does NOT bong to this but the neighbour property and we were told we might be able to use the facility.Overall: perfect place for those who are out for sightseeing or experiences during the day,not so great for those who want to sleep in or have total quietness

Fantastic location, really quiet considering how much traffic is about 20m away.Nanie was super friendly and always willing to help. The breakfast every morning was really good. I'm surprised people have reviewed it as not very big portions, as we felt it was ample (see photos). It was served on the balcony which is accessed from the room, but we were warned of this upon arrival so we made sure it wad tidy when she came through in the morning. One morning we didn't want to have breakfast as we wanted to sleep more, so Nanie cooked us fried noodles for lunch instead! We've never had this flexibility from anywhere before.The room was spacious and had a table and chair, fridge in a cabinet, bench, wardrobe and clothes horse. The bed itself was very large, it was wide and spacious. The bathroom was a huge walk-in shower with great pressure and a decent amount of space in there too.Honestly, we were pleasantly surprised with our stay here. Nanie's sister runs the hotel next door and as such they said we could use the pool there too, which was a bonus.

I spent 3 nights here with my daughter. We loved Absolutely everything! Really spacious and spotless bedroom and bathroom Comfortable bed and pillows Delicious breakfast prepared with great care every morning, even on our last day when we checked out at 6 am The location, right in the heart of Ubud but off the Main Street enough to avoid the noise What makes this place really special is for sure Nanie, so welcoming and helpful.

Cute hotel in the centre of Ubud but in quiet alley. Nice host and clean room. Breakfast is very simple (as expected for a price range) so don’t expect too much. It would be nice if they could also provide a bath mat, hairdryer and iron

Right in the center of Ubud, the beds are very comfortable, the room is beautiful, the host is incredibly kind and always available. Nanie is a great personNo internet, hot water or other problems during my month-long stay!And above all the breakfast is just perfect, a delight!I highly recommend!!!

Simple accommodation and runs by balinese family. Located in the heart of Ubud. Very good to stay for a long term. Located together with ibu Agung house, a famous balinese dancer that already retired. You can chat and talk a lot about Ubud with her.
