I stayed here for 2 weeks and absolutely loved my bungalow. It was quiet, clean and comfortable and I loved the location! The staff were very friendly and attentive. I'll definitely stay here again

Thank you De'cocco Villa for a wonderful stay!Staff:* Eka the manager was so kind and responsive, answered all my questions and helped with booking and stay.* All the staff were very attentive, we could not be happier with our stay.* So helpful in organising bikes and activities.Villa:*Welcoming, light, bright and open.*All the bedrooms are spacious and clean. All linen felt lux.In general:*Is it a brand new villa? No, does it have some wear and tear? Yes*Was it brilliant for a few families to stay and explore? YES!*As we explored the island we looked at a few other places with higher ratings, they didn't look nearly as good as De'cocco Villa.

I must say this loud and clear, it is the best bungalow, the best accommodation on Gili Air Island. It's a room with a high ceiling, a large double bed, a wonderfully clean bathroom, great working air conditioning, plus an area to sit outside. In addition, the internet speed is very good, there is hot water in the bathroom, there is a small refrigerator outside and a kettle to make tea and coffee. Only 50 meters walking distance to the sea. There are many places to eat around. And the staff….. The staff are the best I have ever seen! First of all, I would like to thank Eka, Agin, Zihad, Haria and G. You are all amazing! I hope our paths cross again one day. 🇹🇷🇮🇩🙏🏻

Unfortunately, the actually very beautiful villas were very run down and a renovation was urgently needed. The water regularly stood up around the toilet, very unhygienic. It was clear to us in advance that we didn't have a pool, but that wasn't an exclusion criterion since the accommodation is only a few minutes' walk from the beach. The staff was very friendly, but also a bit strange. One day we were out and coming back from the beach and they were sitting on our terrace, which we found very inappropriate. They also forgot to lock our room door after cleaning. Unfortunately the price/performance ratio is not right here.

They are beautiful villas, we chose them because we decided to stay one more night on the island and we booked it just for one day, I wish we had seen it before, we have been in Indonesia for 11 days and it is the most beautiful and clean hotel we stayed in, the staff Super friendly, without a doubt if we return we will choose him again! Unfortunately DeCoCo is not what we expected.We were looking forward to this Gili Air trip and wanted a villa so we could relax there and have a mutual hangout space for two travelling families.I cannot say that I consider this villa to be clean or as luxury as the booking listing sounded. It was not worth the $5500 AUD we paid for six nights.In the week we stayed there we only received clean towels once after asking, but we did not receive clean sheets or pillow cases only towels despite asking, which were stained . There was mould in the sheets of one room and stains in the bed from the other. New towels has stains on them. And they didn’t end up changing the sheets.The bathrooms have sensitive plumbing which is understandable for islands but considering all toilet paper was to be put in the bin and the bin wasn’t emptied until we asked about it 3 days later.The kitchen bin wasn’t emptied for the duration of the stay and the kitchen was crawling with ants, all over the cupboards draws cooktop and then up the wall of the kitchen. There were 1000s of them. We didn’t not use the kitchen facilities as we didn’t feel comfortable.With little ones a vila pool was inviting but sadly we rarely used it as when we arrived it was so cloudy and smelt so strongly of chlorine that it burned little ones skin and stained the clothes. It was so strong and even after mentioning to one of the staff that the pool seemed ‘sick’ he tended to agree.The staff that were there seemed to be hanging out in one of the adjoining bungalows smoking and drinking I don’t know if they were actually meant to be attending to us or working but they didn’t pop in much. Have stayed at plenty of villas throughout Bali and unfortunately we just didn’t get lucky with this one. It it were clean , regularly attended to and the pool swimmable than my review would probably be different. Really upset that it cost so much for such an untidy unpleasant experience.

The bungalow it self was okay, but no proper blanked and pillows terrible! Shower very okay! The pool which is in the pictures is not for bungalow stay, thats a private villa, which is miss leading info! Pool for bungalow was small, dirty and in not nice area where neighbors burning trash !Gili air is more about chill and nice rest, but this hotel is right next to party bar and when you sleep you have feeling that you are in the club because even bed is shaking from the base! ( Tuesday’s is the biggest party until 4:00) . But in general its nice just need to know your preferences!
