We had the best time, remote but comfortable, highly educational, it is an operation that is sensitive and supportive to not only the local environment but also to the culture that it has immersed itself in, also extraordinary views and finally the most attentive staff you could wish for.Please be aware you will be in a unique part of the world and to treat the experience with understanding and to be respectful of both what the owners have achieved and to the local people that will embrace you without reservation, return the favour and you will be richly rewarded.

The hotel has the best view in Wamena city, it's a shame to get there it takes a struggle hehee, but it's worth it, suitable for a honeymoon 😁

If you are looking for something exceptionally authentic and are not afraid of the long journey and the very bumpy path to the resort (not for people with spinal disc problems) you will find a very beautiful, unusual resort in a dream location high above the Baliem Valley.The main house/dining room is a museum, even after five days we still discovered new, beautiful art objects, the rooms in the bungalows are furnished with a lot of style and love, the view is magnificent, the staff are very friendly and helpful. The food was very good. The excursions were easy to do, even if the paths were very muddy after heavy rain, but the guides were always there to helpThe encounters with the residents of the Baliem Valley were a highlight and made us aware of many things we took for grantedAbsolutely recommended trip for people who love the real, unadulterated

There’s no place like this in whole highlands Papua. Cuisine is excellent. People’s are most kind you’ve probable you’ve ever meet in this island. I o Would definitely recommend guide Scorpio- ask about him, he’s incredible!

We (couple in our early 30s) had an incredibly great trip to the Baliem Valley. We always felt safe and in good hands. Mr. Siprianus and our guide Viktor took excellent care of us. When our plane unfortunately wasn't waiting for us in Jayapura, Mr. Siprianus helped us immediately and so we were able to continue our flight with another airline (Trigana) a short time later. Our return journey from Wamena to Bali (with three short flights) also went smoothly and really well because our guide also helped us with check-in.The excursions were indescribably beautiful. We hiked through the Baliem Valley with many short breaks and nice stops (e.g. lunch at the waterfall, sitting on the Baliem River in the afternoon with fresh fruit). During our trip we were not only able to observe the beautiful landscape, but also passed a lot of locals , who were all very friendly and welcomed us. The Pig Festival with the very nice Dani Stamm was also very exciting and varied. We can absolutely recommend a trip to Baliem Valley! The Baliem Valley Resort has a breathtaking view, the food was plenty and very tasty. The rooms are clean and correspond to the photos. :)

Great place to stay in the Baliem Valley, which feels completely remote and lost in nature. The staff was extremely nice and helpful, and the food served absolutely delicious!
