We didn't stay here but we did 3 dives with yenbuba dive centre (part of the homestay). We had a great time, the host Rocky was super responsive and helpful. Their dive master is lovely and welcoming and made us feel safe (he also has a very infectious laugh!). They provided us with lunch and allowed us to use their hot showers after our dives - thank you!

Stayed a week at YENBUBA and really enjoyed it !And from what we heard, we were really lucky to be in one of the most comfortable homestays in Raja Ampat (western toilets, comfy beds with nets, nice terrace with hammocks and sunbeds)!Great food, different everyday and really tasty !You can see reef sharks under the bungalows if you keep an eye out 👀Will be back someday ✨

We stayed in Yenbuba for a week and it was spectacular. The cabins are in very good condition and the location is dreamlike. The staff is super friendly, they are attentive at all times for whatever you may need and if you want to do an excursion or diving they will organize it for you. Toilets are shared but super clean, there is a person who makes sure they are always in perfect condition. There is also hot water. The food is abundant and super good. Kri is very beautiful and staying in yenbuba is top. We recommend it 100%. Unbeatable value for money! Thanks Yenbuba!

We have had a fantastic week at Yenbuba homestay! Highly recommended! The huts on the water are lovely, there is a fan, a hammock and a lovely bed. The showers and toilets were always in perfect order. Electricity is also available and the food is delicious. But best of all: the atmosphere and the staff. Thank you very much for everything Rocky and certainly also Radi! These gentlemen were there every day with a smile, super friendly men who were always ready for you: to help you or to have a nice chat! Thanks a lot Rocky and Radi! We will definitely come back!

It was our second time on Kri Island, but our first time staying at Yenbuba and we absolutely made the right choice. If you are booked to dive with Soul Scuba Divers it's the only place you should consider, as it's a stone's throw from the dive centre. With the morning dive boats leaving at 7.30am every day, you have just enough time to have the communal breakfast at the homestay, before heading along the beautiful new pier of Soul to dive. Here's a little breakdown of the homestay:Rooms: For 2 weeks we stayed in the VIP bungalow on the beach, which has it's own cute outdoor bathroom but no view - as it's obscured by the overwater bungalows. This was convenient for early morning toilet breaks as you have your own loo, but in all honesty we still ended up using the communal hot showers as the shower in the private bungalow is cold water. So it's not all it's cracked up to be IMO. Once we moved to the overwater bungalow at the end of the trip for 1 night, we instantly regretted not having had a water bungalow for the whole trip - so we will definitely do this next time. We didn't realize that some of the overwater bungalows also come with 2 beds. The views are waaaaaaay better on the water, and it's more peaceful. So we massively regret this. And ironically the cheaper rooms on the water are better as they are bigger and come with storage hangers for clothes. Forget VIP and book the water bungalows!Food: Always in abundance, and the food was YUMMY! Great fish or chicken for lunch and dinner, always a vegetable dish, and our faves were the bbq fish nights. They also had bread and peanut butter/nutella always on hand for a quick daytime snack which our son loved. My only recommendation (and a lot of other guests echoed this) would be to always have eggs of some sort every day for breakfast, because after a week or so of fried bananas and donuts, we started to feel super bloated and sick. Although we found out later into the trip that we could request eggs privately each day, I wish we had known this at the start. And please also more fruit. Like way more fruit! But you will definitely not go hungry and the kitchen team go out of their way to make sure people's needs are met each day.Location: AAAAA+. For diving at Soul Scuba Divers, which was the reason we were there, you are but a mere 30 seconds walk from the dive centre.Service: OUT OF THIS WORLD. Super helpful all of the time. Roky and Radix always on hand to help any guest with any query. At the end of the trip they even organized a boat to meet us in Wasai to deliver a pair of reef shoes I had forgotten at the dive centre. And we also got a free night at the end when we extended. I mean, who even does this???! We actually now can't wait to go back and stay in one of the overwater bungalows for longer. For anyone diving at Soul, this is the ONLY place you should consider staying.thank you for everything x

Please dive with these guys. Rocky, the manager, has been diving for 13 years and Asrol I dived with has over 23 years of experience. They are without a doubt a wonderful location for staying, diving and relaxing. Cheers, the happy Danish guy who had 3 dives in one day and all of them was 55+ minutes, because Asrol and I chilled so much! 🤙😉👌
