Great place to stay overnight, got a swimming pool and a snooker table 👍👍👍 the rooms are very old, but clean and the location is extremely convenient

This place changed their name to Pai Family Resort but it still looks like it's being maintained by the same people.I do not recommend you stay here and here's why:It's neither friendly nor a place I would bring a family to.Booked through Agoda. I arrived around 8:30a to check out the property (not to check in) and there wasn't a single person. No staff or guests.I walked around the property hoping to find a staff member and to check out the facilities. The rooms had keys in the doors so I let myself into one of them.The rooms are simply OK. Nothing too bad or out of place but very outdated.The pool was dirty to the point that I wouldn't set foot in it. The grass around the property needed to be mowed and the whole property could use a good cleaning. They have an aquarium on the property that had so much grime in it I couldn't see if there was anything in it.I didn't feel like staying here and this is where time, energy, and money was wasted.On Agoda, this property is set for nonrefundable. I contacted Agoda that morning, before checking in and said the following:"I messaged the "resort" and no response. I came over to the property this morning and didn't see another human. The property is not being maintained and does not look anywhere as good as it does in the pictures. I do not feel comfortable staying there and want a full refund."The chat went on for an hour and the agreement was that if the owner/manager doesn't respond, they will elevate the matter. The owner didn't respond, Agoda didn't elevate it, my credit card was charged for a room I would never check into, and now I'm left feeling disappointed with the owner of this property and Agoda.Save your money, time, and energy -Do not stay here.

Unfortunately, this hotel couldn't convince us at all, even though we really spent a lot of money compared to other accommodations.The address is incorrect in Booking. That was our first disappointment. We were looking for something downtown, when we realized that the hotel wasn't where it was advertised, we tried to cancel. Unfortunately, there was no goodwill from the owners.Since it had already been paid for and we really paid a relatively high amount here, we had to agree to it. :(When we arrived there, we initially didn't meet anyone at the “reception”, which seemed somewhat neglected. After we walked around the area a little confused, a lady came out of one of the buildings and showed us to our room. At the beginning there is a note: the pool is on display and the rooms are not cleaned every day, you should just let us know. It's just a shame that you rarely meet anyone on the premises! Except for a huge dog, which supposedly doesn't belong to the owner. Nevertheless, he wears a collar, hangs around the property and barked and growled violently at us on the first evening and blocked our way out. Anyone who is afraid of larger dogs is NOT in good hands here.Overall, the entire area is run down. The pool has a greenish color, but this is also because the pool pump is constantly turned off…The rooms were also more than disappointing. The room did not appear to have been cleaned properly before our arrival. We still found traces of the previous person in the toilet and the mirror in the connecting room was also full of water and mascara stains. 🤮We didn't get toilet paper or a trash can in the room. The room wasn't cleaned once in four days. We also had to go after fresh towels ourselves.Extremely poor value for money, KEEP OFF!

Not good........|The pool water was cloudy so couldn't use.|I paid upfront and wish I hadn't as when I wanted to move elsewhere the remaining nights would not be refunded.|Quite far away from walking street / bars but only 10-12 mins.|There are nicer places to stay in Pai closer to walking street.

The owner is friendly but the accommodation very old and unmaintained. The bed hard, you sleep on a piece of concrete, the room was smelly and the pool was unmaintained, it had green water. The restaurant and bar did not work. Price on site too high and could not be reduced, on Booking almost half the price.

I came today, the cleaning lady showed me my room, there was no one in charge, I rented the room, she immediately asked for money, I gave it to her and she couldn't give me the change because she didn't have any change. I asked for soap and shampoo in the room, he said okay, I left and when I came back, there was neither soap nor shampoo in the room, nor was there anyone in sight.. the hot water heater is not working, it is a disgraceful place, do not come, the price is too high compared to its quality.. I am glad I will stay for 1 night.

If you take this hotel to sleep, it will be very difficult, the owner is very nice, but likes to party with his friends around the pool until 3-4 a.m. and the roosters next door won't bother you. no help at all!!! As for the room, there is very poor soundproofing and the bed is hard as a rock, very uncomfortable... I do not recommend

I didn’t have a chance to stay there. When I arrived gates were closed and whole territory look like Silent Hill. I managed to get inside only to figure out that they’ve had absolutely no guests and even owner doesn’t live there. …

Cheap and good accommodation to explore the nice town of Pai. Spacious with a small terrace. Slightly remote, therefore very quiet and safe. We felt very comfortable for 4 days and started our tours from there on the scooter.

Personally, I'm not very impressed. The accommodation is not very clean. We forgot the speaker in the room. So I asked the owner of the accommodation and planned to drive back, but was refused and said no, even though I didn't stop anywhere. It shows a lack of concern for the customer. I'm sorry, I just want the item back. If I said I had everything, it would be fine.

cheap and comfortable room, the owner are so nice ,they always smile .this resort are simple and old . I’m so surprised that there have the swimming pool . It’s close to the market to buy some fresh fruit and coconut ice cream in the day time , and walk around 10mins to night market .

Very friendly owner. The coffee and toast is for free. Loved the animals at the resort. Saw a small snake here, cats en a lot of chickens. The bed was very comfortable. Close to the centre, a 5 minute walk. Thanks!
