The 2 stars are for the views, which are the best in the village. This hotel seemed the best in the village with the most amount of reviews but this is purely down to most of the hotels in the area are not on google maps / booking websites you need to call or use the line app.We checked in for one night and at first were impressed, after a wander around the village we realised that the bathroom smelt of sewage - badly, or rotten vegetables. There was mould spores around the wooden furniture and the cleanliness was ok but the bathroom smell was terrible we had to leave the light and extractor on…. Roll on 9pm and the electricity completely cut out. We thought possible power cut - then noticed the other occupied rooms all had electricity still. Went down to the restaurant/ reception area no one was there it was all in pitch black. So off to bed we went, with no AC meant we had to sleep in a room that smelt of the toilet. A few hours later the electricity came back briefly meaning all the lights turned back on and woke us up… but went back out again in the night. Meaning the room was boiling and smelt of the toilet. The village itself is lovely and depending where you are travelling from you can see it in a few hours, you really do not need to stay there as there is absolutely nothing here other than a handful of restaurants and shops selling Chinese goods. We enjoyed our time at the village itself, just a shame about the accommodation.

it is very difficult to book for non local people. (International travellers) ||I wanted to stay overnight in Ban Rak Thai.|The only accommodation I could consider was either Lee Wine Rak Thai Resort or Chasa Rakthai Resort only. …

Advantages: There is plenty of hot water for bathing, and the balcony has a good view. You can overlook the entire lake from a high place. Tea sets and tea bags are provided in the room, so you can make your own tea (but be sure to confirm the room type in advance, the cheapest room type does not have a private balcony)After checking in, I understood the reasons for the mixed reviews of this accommodation. The view and location are its advantages, but the employees are generally passive and it is difficult to provide assistance to guests (1. When dining in the Chinese restaurant of the hotel, there were only two of us, but we waited. It took a long time for the food to be served, and the fried food was cold. One minute before it was served, we were told that one of the dishes we ordered was no longer available, which was speechless; 2. All the seats facing the lake during breakfast were wet. There is no tidying up, making it impossible for guests to sit down; 3. The staff will not take the initiative to greet guests, and they are expressionless and passive when they encounter them on the road. 4. There was no one at the counter when checking out, and the clerk from a nearby store asked us to just put down the key).In August 2024, the hotel is under construction everywhere and is still expanding new facilities and guest rooms. However, with the hotel's room prices and expansion ambitions, employee morale should be restored.

At the end of July, I stayed at this hotel for two nights. I was very satisfied because I could fully experience the Chinese atmosphere while being in Thailand. Not only is the exterior of the building intricately designed in a Chinese style, but the guest rooms are also thoughtfully decorated with Chinese designs.Additionally, the hotel is located in a position that overlooks the lake at the front, making it enjoyable to gaze outside all day without getting bored. There is no other hotel where you can feel Chinese culture as much as this one, so if you visit Ban Rak Thai, you should definitely stay at this hotel.Although Thailand has a tropical climate, this area is very cool. It rains frequently, so be sure to bring a long-sleeved shirt and an umbrella.

Stay in a room for 1,200 baht a night. The room is pretty good, clean and well-stocked. Tea bags are provided. There is a balcony overlooking Ban Rak Thai.It will be cold in the evening, night and morningThe hotel counter is on the first floor. You can drive up to the accommodation area after checking in on the first floor. The disadvantage is that it is inconvenient for people in wheelchairs, and it is tiring to carry luggage up and down the stairs.

Came with no information so came to Pai for car repairs so stopped by to stay. The price of accommodation is reasonable and suitable for the location. In the morning, I brought tupon food in exchange for breakfast. I was very shocked. It was very full. It was worth it. Rak Cha Sa, Rak Thai 🥰🥰🥰🥰
