I don't recommend this place! The owner is extremely RUDE. We booked a night via booking.com and when we came there was a problem with our room, but that was fine, the lady on the reception called the owner, to solve the problem. …

I don't usually write bad reviews, it's a pity that this is the first time I've been treated so badly in any type of service. We booked through booking, but we got a confirmation, when we got to the place it turned out that they are fully booked. We were okay with that and we wanted to hit the road again but as lady at the reception was really nice and tried to help us she called her boss to solve the issue. He arrived quite quickly I will give it back to him. But with the moment he came in you could tell the man is already irritated. Without welcome, without introducing him self or saying sorry for inconvenience he demanded our passports. While reading data of my girlfriend he was harsh and was blaming us that he had to came he claimed he cancelled our stay before, with is still confirmed at the page 1,5 hour after the incident. He let us feel like he would be doing charity for us. Till this point we let it slide but he kept on searching problems, as I didn’t have my passport on me because it was a deposit for renting a scooter. So I told him that I have just a copy of it. He responded “ I need just a photo of it, what do you think “ with irritated tone. Once he got copy of my data, letters were too small for him so he did not hesitate to take his frustration on us. At this point I don’t really know what he expected as he wanted from me my passport with was impossible at this point and already explained. As a consequence we said that we will go elsewhere, he got offended and raised his voice saying that is only our decision without any fault of his and that “ he didn’t pissed me” maybe because I remained much calmer than him since the beginning. Disrespectful, poor service, from a man of short fuse. The place looked quite decent, so could be nice if you won’t have an “honor” to meet its owner. But ask yourself if you want to support this type of behaviour as the area is rich in choose in cheaper options where owners won’t roast you. The only negative experience we had at Ko Chang. Safe travel everyone

Clean, cheap room, stayed on December 5, 2023 for 500 baht, air conditioned room, clean room, good water flow, good service owner, had the opportunity to stay on Koh Chang, stayed here, very good.

I stayed 9 nights. One problem and it was resolved immediately. The friendly manager. All it needs is a small fridge and that would be perfect.

Update on past visits over the past 20 years: It's still great! Short walk to the beach, but removed from the noise and bustle. Up on a hill with a fabulous view of the rain forest! Laid-back vibe with wonderful and helpful owners and staff. Upgraded facilities, comfy mattresses. Can't wait to visit yet again!

It's sad, but it's already been closed for 2 weeks. Although they were kind to me, I was able to make a reservation on Agoda and since I had already paid, I could not cancel. I don't know if it's because of Agoda's bad response or the hotel's response, but it's very troubling that I can't get my money back. I hope it improves. be careful.

Lovely place, very nice owner and staff. The food is great and really cheep. Great value. Good selection of rooms from very basic to air con, fridge and tv etc. Close to shops, bars, food market and beach. Definitely recommend and would stay again
