Yes, this hotel offers a stunning sea view, the staff are very helpful, and the food is above average.However, the room facilities are extremely outdated:1. The hairdryer overheats within 10 seconds and becomes unusable.2. The small room is incredibly noisy late at night, and I couldn’t sleep because of the constant noise. I eventually had to move to the living room and sleep on the sofa.3. The wardrobe light wouldn’t turn off properly, so we had to endure the light being on all night.4. The air conditioner shut off by itself in the middle of the night, making the room unbearably hot and waking up my parents. I had to get up and manually turn it back on.This was supposed to be our best experience in Koh Chang, especially since we stayed at two other hotels and had high expectations for this one. Unfortunately, it turned into a sleepless night. I really hope the management addresses these issues. Maybe I’ll give it another try in the future, but for now, I’m left disappointed.☹️

Stunning Villa and pool. Beautifully placed looking out over the beach. Food is very good as is the service. Very clean beach and pools. Highly recommended as the place to be on KohChang. Easy access to the towns and dozens of restaurants, 7/11s, pharmacy's and bars. Definitely get a villa and pool.....soooo worth it.

Such an amazing and welcoming space. Truly amazing for sunsets with refreshing cocktails. We were treated to Cosmopolitans, and they were super yummy! An incredible way to end off a day with the girls. I'll definitely be returning here during my next trip to Thailand.

The rooms are very large, and they all face the sea. The scenery is very good.The service staff are very attentive to every aspect, and the public services inside the hotel are complete. It feels like you can spend a whole day without leaving the hotel.The disadvantage is that the decoration is a bit old. The hotel is located on a mountain, and you have to go uphill and downhill to get in and out.

Our stay at SYLVAN Koh Chang was simply fantastic! We actually only booked two nights to look around and see if we could find another hotel on the island. But after the first night it was clear to us: we're staying here! We loved it so much that we spent our entire nine remaining vacation days there.The hotel is perfectly located, in the middle of the jungle and right on the beach. Two large swimming pools offer great cooling, and the view of the sea from our room was breathtaking. It felt like paradise - the whole facility is very well equipped, clean and well maintained.I would particularly like to highlight the fantastic atmosphere and the extremely friendly staff. Every member of staff we met was warm, attentive and always keen to make our stay as pleasant as possible. The breakfast was excellent and I will really miss the delicious omelettes that were freshly made every morning. The chef was always in a good mood and welcomed us with a friendly smile - a perfect start to the day!A special highlight was the hotel manager, who regularly greeted us at breakfast and asked whether everything was to our satisfaction. We were very impressed by this personal touch and the family atmosphere.Although Thailand may not be known for pizza, that's exactly what we were craving one evening - and it was a treat to enjoy a delicious pizza in bed! A big compliment to the entire team for this great service.The hotel offers much more: a beautiful route through the jungle with a viewpoint, a gym, a spa and even its own nursery where fresh vegetables are grown for the kitchen. The peace and nature right outside the door made our stay perfect. I'm actually a very light sleeper, but I slept soundly here.All in all it was a wonderful holiday at SYLVAN Koh Chang. We will definitely visit this place again and highly recommend it to everyone. Many thanks to the entire team for the unforgettable time – we look forward to seeing you again!Big hugs to everyone who made this stay so special.Best regards 🥰🥰🥰

Honest review - we came during low season and when the typhoon hit. The weather was no good and a bit scary at times. The resort is nice but in all it’s not the time to come here. We spent time at the bar and had a lot of amazing cocktails served by bartender Dima! Highly recommend.

We went to the bar and swimming pool and had a wonderful time. Staff was very friendly and welcoming especially the supervisor Dima. Thank you so much for your hospitality. Facility are clean and well maintained, swimming pool is big and have part for kids and they even have a play room for kids and adults.

An excellent accommodation option in Koh Chang, with complete hardware facilities, good beds, two swimming pools with different styles, and a perfect sunset location.It also provides complete hardware, including gym, canoe, spa... etc. You can definitely spend a whole day in the hotel without regrets!The only suggestion is to pay attention to hardware details. For example, the hair dryer in room 1203 has trouble adjusting the temperature and the waterproof tape is slightly moldy.Next, Koh Chang is a national park. We hope that drinking fountains can be provided to replace the large amount of plastic water every day.
