For those who want to get as far away from the tourist areas as possible while enjoying the nature that Koh Chang offers, Baanchanlay is the perfect place. A corner of paradise in the Mangrove, in a very pretty little fishermen's house on stilts. Our host Lek is the best, I really appreciated his kindness, his help and his company! You can go for a kayak ride to enjoy this breathtaking environment and enjoy the very tasty dishes that Lek will prepare for you. The only thing to say is that I can't wait to come back because I loved it so much

Breakfast and dinner can be purchased separately on site, and the proprietress will cook it herself. Personally, I think the CP value is higher than that of outside restaurants, and it is very delicious! !The location is not easy to find. You can ride a motorcycle to the bottom of the dead end and then walk for 20 seconds to get there.The B&B has been open for more than seven years. The hostess said that she ordered the wood in the B&B from Chiang Mai. It is cheaper and better. It feels like the entire B&B was built with great care.Another great thing about this B&B is that there are stairs where you can go directly to the sea and play in the water. The hostess also provided 2 small boats for us for free. When we went ashore, there was a tap water shower head carefully set up by the hostess for us to rinse first before entering. Clean bath towels will be prepared for guests. The hostess was very kind to meet our needs from check-in to check-out. We will definitely visit this relaxing B&B again if we have the opportunity.

Great experience ! Owner is very nice, many things to see in the surroundings and far from the busy west coast of the island. You see so much nature , hear birds etc,Room was small but comfortable,Aircon not noisy, bed very comfortable (for thai standards). Definitely will come back.
