Totally a scam! After arriving, they claimed that the room was full and asked us to go to another hotel across the street. The room was completely different from the photos online. The room was dilapidated and the bathroom was not hygienic. In the twin room, there was only one quilt and the other was just a quilt. A bed sheet.Please be careful, don't choose this hotel. There are many choices in the old town, so you definitely don't need to consider this one.

Sunshine hotel is Sena hotel, they are same, i dont know why they have two different name, there is a little sign writen "sunshine hotel", but actually this is Sena hotel too.Because this is old quarter i think why the are limited to have the land so dont you imagine the hotel gonna be wide, almost every hotel in old quarter is quite little.This hotel jus have elevator to 5th floor, if you get the 6th floor number, its mean you have to walk a lil bit upstairs.The female receptionist are friendly and helpfull, but the male receptionist not event give us smile when we're checkout from the hotel. The porter help us with lots of luggage, but i think he needs some more attitude infront of the customer/guest.If youre vacation on budgeting go on take this hotel, the room and toilet is quite clean, they give you free cofee and tea as always, hairdryer, etc.What i hate so much about this area is, in the night they put the some trash truck just infront of the door of the hotel. Its kinda gross. But in the day they take out the trash truck from there.

Really friendly and helpful staff who talk to each other so when you talk to different people about something, they've already clued each other in.Allowed us to sit around and store luggage there between checking in/out and our actual arrival/departure times.Gave us a map straight away and described all the things to do in the area, which were all within walking distance and we didn't once have to take a car.Have been to several other accomodations since across the country and still consider this one my favourite, despite any details I maybe didn't like about the room. More of a home than any other place has felt.

An extremely bad experience!I booked Hanoi Sunshine Hotel at 18 Hang Hom, but when I arrived, the staff told me that the hotel I booked was a different hotel, then took me to the hotel across the street and the room quality here was extremely bad, compared to Images posted on the traveloka app.The staff told me it was due to an IT error that had not been updated, but when I researched, I found that many other customers have had the same situation since the beginning of 2023, so why hasn't this "IT error" been fixed yet?This experience for me is no different from being cheated. Not to mention raising the room price on the app and then lowering it to extremely low prices to attract customers, but when they check in, they let them stay in a room no different from a motel.I researched this location before and saw that it had changed its name many times (Sena Hotel, Hanoi Sunshine Hotel, Hanoi Chic, Symphony hotel). It's like the cover is exposed for a while and the name will be changed to erase the traces. So when you see the address 18 Hang Hom, you should avoid it.I hope in the future no one will be like me.Hello and determined to win!

I stayed at this hotel in October with my daughter. It was such a great location, and excellent value.The staff were so respectful and helpful. A particularly big thanks to Miss Julie who helped organise transport for us when needed it, such as transfer to and from the airport, and our trip to Halong Bay.We also appreciated the great recommendations on places to eat and visit.Breakfast every morning was a feast, and definitely an added bonus.

A lovely hotel right in the main city accessible to many eateries, markets and main square. Loved the stay, as the staff arranged our trips and were extremely friendly. The rooms were very comfortable and the breakfast was served well every morning. Special mention about Julie who took care of our stay, bookings and provided a detailed guide of what places to visit within the city.

Good affordable hotel with very friendly staff in the old town of Ha Noi.Take the junior suite with a balcony. You can look out onto the street.

We had a pleasant stay. Ms Julie was very helpful with her advice and the staff was always accommodating and took very good care of us. We could not have asked for better service. We were especially pleased with our room upgrade! The location of the hotel is also very good if you want to explore the old town. It was perfect for us. You are right in the middle of Hanoi life. However, you should keep in mind that you live in the middle of the city and therefore it can be quite noisy early in the morning.

Heard noises out on balcony- attempted break in. Next day two guys entered my room but rushed off when realising I was present. Management seemed not to care. If a westerner, take care.

Not worth your money if you like a nice hotel. No hot water, no window in bedroom and dirty room, faucet doesn’t flush down, toilet is off center. Left after just one night to a different hotel
