Had 10 days in late July, this is a fabulous early Balinese resort, the best location you could wish for. Right in the midst of some of the best restaurants in Bali : Ribs, The Village Italian Restaurant, the two restaurants fronting on the beach side of the ICON, The Glasshouse (highly recommended, but you must book). Breakfast is basic but the nasi goreng is delicious ! Have already booked again for May 2025 !!

Oldie but location, location, location. Rooms are clean but needs some TLC but management seems to be reluctant. I have suite room with bath. Sadly too far from wifi but got data only Telkomsel sim for $20 which is more than I will need as I use wifi at most places I stop at. Beds are firm not hard or soft, pillows are medium. Gardens and pool are delightful. Breakfast is eggs toast and fruit and Bali coffee or tea. I eat at Made's, garlic prawns and beef rendang excellent, warung next door, or warung across the road their creme brulee is to live for.Ask for rooms nearer to reception or Beach Cafe for better WiFi if that's what you need. Will definitely come again 👌

First time staying at the Gazebo Beach Hotel. It is such a lovely Balinese hotel which is what we just love and is getting harder and harder to find unfortunately! |Fabulous gardens & 2 pools. |Breakfast was very basic compared to other hotels but fine for us. |A great location on Sanur Beach.|Would definitely stay there again.

Very old historic hotel, big room with lots of old carved furniture. Four poster bed is very good, but would high for some older ppl. 4 showers none worked properly. Some lights not working. Pool nearer the road is a bit tatty but pleasant and magnificent gardens.

Totally neglected, got pissed straight away when we got to our 2 booked bungalows!! So dirty, broken and old, the bedding smelled old man! Directly broken things: the toilet was leaking water without stopping, a led lamp had to be replaced (spinning white leds, without lampshades), holes through roads, cracks where the mosquitoes could fly in, torn curtains, cracked joints everywhere etc etc. We checked in late at the evening after transfer from Lovina so we had to stay overnight, photographed all the problems and was pissed when I went to the reception right in the morning, 20 minutes later we left the place, we had planned for 4 nights but canceled the reservation and paid only for one night ( overpriced!!), their 3 stars is really barely a star. The hotel has been in operation since 73 and the old men who rent rooms there have probably been regulars since it opened? It is disgusting in the pools with black mold on the sides. The location is good.

If it were possible, I would give even fewer stars, just a disgusting hotel, worse than in the village, the rooms stink of dampness, there is mold everywhere, the bathtub is just a separate shock, it was not pleasant to be there even in shoes. Refused number

People who give a 5 on everything either did not stay here or somehow connected because the place has some serious issues starting at arrival. if you are not alert they try to sell you one of the most expensive rooms and are not honest about availability , always check in Agoda. the second is there is no maintenance at all. the tv placed in 1979 is still there and is there just for decoration , no working refrigerator probably also from 1979 and a lot of other issues. The owner does not seem to care at all. You pay for location and garden view , you sleep lowest class imaginable in a moldy dirty smelly place 🤷🏼♂️ wifi and 3g signal (displayed as 5G) is bad all over Bali which is kind of confusing this being a tourist island 🤔 not recommended for long stays , if you not fall trough the bed from old you will probably wake up with back pains 🫣 it is what it is. do not come for luxury. While it is so easy to put a stripe of paint and repair things it seems the owner just want to milk this place out until it collapses on itself which is kind of sad giving the premium location.

Charged me in Agoda then told me they have no connection with Agoda. Despite sending a confirmation. When I was waiting in the foyer while they chased their tails for 30 minutes another guy stayed here warned me of the horrific state of the rooms

Couldntfond my booking on arrival. Room very musty smelling. WiFi barely works in room. Pools run down, missing tiles. Restaurant only very basic menu. Much better dining places a few metres either way along the beach front. Nice gardens and fairly central. Wouldn't recommend.
