Buffet breakfast offers different varieties of foods, good food, good taste, not top the top notch quality. Too crowded during the breakfast, would help if the hotel provides 2 different place to enjoy the breakfast.Staff are nice and helpful, the service and sales could have improved with better standardize training to all the staff with focus area on improved hospitality.WiFi connectivity is available, the connection is not stable and the bandwidth was poor.

I stayed at The Mulia for 3 nights. Before coming to The Mulia, I stayed at Ayana Segara, but the very friendly and kind butlers like Wijaya and Ali at The Mulia gave me an unforgettable experience. The à la carte meals and afternoon tea at The Lounge and Living Room were nice, but the butler service at The Mulia elevated the hotel's grade to a 6-star level.Special thanks to Staff Wijaya and Ali in the mulia :)

Room is nice and spacious. For the service I would give it -1 star if I could. The staff are just rude and has no boundaries, one male staff forced me to write 5 star review after participating in a bracelet making activity, so here’s a one star for you:)

I paid almost double price from the Mulia Resort but still had to fight for table during breakfast?! Not sure what is the point of creating more “exclusive” property like The Mulia where your guests cant easily find spot for breakfast? They even offered to move the breakfast to the cafe at Mulia Resort, why should i paid almost double then? There were few people on the waiting list, the breakfast place was overcrowded with people. We ended up waiting for 15 mins.I was long time Mulia property customer and fan but this experience was just a major drawback. Please pay attention to this. The service and food itself was good, high-quality standard from Mulia. The bedroom quite big with double toilet and divided into 3 room (living room, bedroom and bathroom) eventough some furniture a lil bit outdatted.

We stayed at The Mulia for 4 nights. The hotel is one of three hotels. The others are Mulia Resort and Mulia Villas. From the moment you arrive you feel that this is a luxury hotel, deserving of 5⭐️. Check-in was quick and efficient. Service at the highest level. The hotel grounds are clean, surrounded by plants and flowers. Even here you can see attention to every detail. Bravo to the person dealing with decorations and arrangement. Every detail is thought out.Our room was large and spacious. The bed was very comfortable. Spacious balcony with hot tub and beautiful sea view. Living room, separate bathroom with separate shower and bathtub.Pools large and clean. Guest service at the pool efficient. Beach clean and cleaned daily.Breakfasts in the form of à la carte. Tasty and a very large selection. Very nicely served. Waiter service fast and nice. Several restaurants with different cuisines. Our favorite was SOLEIL. Very good food and several world cuisines to choose from. However, it wouldn't be possible without the people working here. I will remember the smile and kindness for a long time. A huge thank you to the staff for their help. I got sick and they did everything to help me. I have the impression that they did more than their duties required. I appreciate it and thank you very much.A separate thank you to the staff for organizing a birthday dinner for my partner. The effect exceeded our wildest expectations. It was a big wow.To sum up. I don't regret this choice and I would choose this hotel again. The price is high for Bali but I think it is adequate to what I received. Next year we will be in Bali again and this hotel will be our first choice. That is why I can already write today that we will see you soon.

We stayed 7 nights at The Mulia which also gave us full access to all of the restaurants and facilities at Mulia Resort located next door. The Mulia has a daily a-la-carte breakfast included and is situated in The Lounge with beautiful views of the pool and beach. The a-la-carte breakfast menu at The Mulia is very extensive with great coffee. We also had the buffet breakfast at the Mulia Resort next door which was one of the best buffet breakfasts we have seen. The daily afternoon tea is also included at The Mulia and offers both savory and sweet options with free flowing cocktails and wine for 2 hours between 4pm - 6pm.We stayed in The Earl Garden Suite which is has a separate living room, walk-in robe, 2 toilets, 2 large tv's, very comfortable bed and spacious balcony with day bed. We booked last minute so could not book the Ocean View Suite yet we have seen the ocean view suite and will be booking this next time. It is the same size as The Earl Garden Suite but with an ocean view. The private beach in front of the hotel / resort is very clean compared to other parts of Bali. The beach lounges are very comfortable and the service on the beach is fantastic.Incredible personal service including 24 hour butler service, friendly and very attentive staff. We highly recommend The Mulia and will be booking another next stay in a few months time.

The hotel is magnificent, large and beautiful. The rooms were only reasonably clean. Some of the walls were dirty and had stains and blemishes all over the walls. The pools are beautiful and clean. The buffett was OK, I was shocked that for 6 to 10 million a night, you would need to line up for breakfast, there were multiple occasions where we waited 25 minutes for coffees at the buffet. The food at the other restaurants were large portions and tasted good. The staff are very kind and found them to be nice people, but this resort certainly lacked the high level of service you would think to expect of a place like this.. I would say service was mediocore.Check out was a disaster, people waiting 20-30 minutes to check out. Such a bizarre way to have people finish there stay at the hotel. The mulia kids is incredible, the staff there are so fantastic our child loved her time. All in all this was an OK stay, it just does not match the price to stay here.

We enjoyed our time at the Mulia but we were not wowed by our experience there. It’s a big resort, meaning it has lots of facilities and outside space (the pools are particularly impressive), but the sheer size of it and the rigid nature of the staff makes it all feel rather impersonal. Rooms are a bit dated in some aspects. I would really not recommend staying here if you are vegan, vegetarian or have any particular dietary requirements. The labelling of food as vegan/vegetarian was really poor and inconsistent across the hotel restaurant menus and breakfast/lunch buffets, meaning it’s impossible to know what you can or can’t eat. At one huge lunch buffet, there were only 2 vegan main options - daal and tomato pasta - not very inspiring! Our worst experience came at breakfast one time though when we ordered the avocado toast without the bacon and eggs that automatically comes with it (there wasn’t a single vegan option on the made to order breakfast menu option). They got the order wrong and brought it out with the meat and eggs included. Another ten minutes passed and they brought the avocado toast back, saying they had simply removed the greasy bacon and eggs from the toast rather than make a fresh one as you would expect. This is a completely unacceptable and unprofessional way to manage someone’s dietary requirements. It ended up being more than an hour before we received what we had actually ordered. This really didn’t feel like the premium service you’d expect from the price. The hotel tried their best with vegan versions of the afternoon tea (you have to order it ‘in advance’), which was probably the food highlight.
