The hotel is extremely noisy, disordered and lack of management some time. The walls and ceiling are very thin. You can hear the people live in the upper level rooms walk like elephants stamping on your head. And you can also hear some couple have sex in the next room very clear. Thank god they have done it real quick. Some punks plays music in their room very loud with doors opened started 6am,run and chasing themselves in somewhere for two hours and no employees come to solve the problems. If you want sleep well and live longer, avoid this hotel when you decided visit nagoya.

You know the place is good if the biggest annoyance is the elevator always stopping on the second floor.Another thing to note is that the other reviews say that the walls are thin, but this is not true in my experience. Room-to-room noise isolation is pretty good, but you can hear everything in the corridor. I'm always surprised to hear people in neighboring rooms watching TV and once I enter the room, I no longer hear it until I step out again. The room cleaning can be a bit noisy because they knock on the doors. There is a "don't wake me up" card you can put on your door, but if they knock on other doors, you'll wake up.Also, the coin laundry on the third floor can be noisy. I can't recommend that floor's rooms.

The room is fine, but the corridor has very strong cigarette smell. Staff are nice. But location is not very close to the metro station and utility are very old. Would definitely consider another hotel next time.

There were some problems with the shower when the water was cut off, and the room cleaning service was not continuous, only changing towels and taking out the trash. But there is a big problem: the sleeping pillow is too hard, it is even like a hard piece of foam, sleeping can easily cause neck pain. I didn't expect much as the room price here is quite good. I think it's because the hotel is quite old and the accompanying services are few, so the price is like that. There are quite a few foreigners staying here. The hotel location is also convenient.

I mistakenly ordered a smoking room. I asked the staff if they could switch me to a non-smoking room of the same tier/quality. They first said nothing was available. I checked online and there were rooms available. They then said because I had used a towel in my room that they couldn’t change me to a non -smoking room without me paying again. They reiterated that this was the reason, because I had used the room by using a towel and sitting down on a chair in the room. The level of service for a completely reasonable and normal request is bewildering. The fact that for the reason I had used a towel to dry my hands in the smoking room and that I sat down would stop them from switching me to a similar non-smoking room is completely unacceptable and disappointing. If that is their hotel policy then they aren’t doing their best to welcome and make guests/customers feel comfortable.Absolutely useless and I won’t be staying at any of their hotels again. Pathetic.

The room size is fine on Japan standards for a solo traveler. The walls are too thin and you can hear doors closing all the time.

Nice! The children love Japanese style bed so much. They also love the tatami and the seats on the floor. We slept well at night. 7-11 is just 1 min walk from the hotel. Staff are all nice and polite

Walking distance to neighboring restaurants, convinience stores and banks. Ease in hailing taxi at doorstep. The hotel is walking distance to the Subway. Concierge is pretty versed with tourist inquiries but the Google Translator is a must for both verbal and written communication. Best coffee/tea amenities at the lobby. Smokers' lounge at the lobby. One reason I gave this 4 stars is the stairs at the entrance. It needed a wider ramp to transport luggage/s from sidewalk to hotel floor. There are no porters to assist.
