I visited for the first time after reading magazines and reviews! ️The appearance and atmosphere of the location was very good. However, when I entered the indoor bath, there was a sign asking people with heart disease or high blood pressure to refrain from bathing.I fell into both categories myself😥There is a risk of hydrogen sulfide accidents, so please take a bath for less than 30 minutes 🙇, but I was worried about the time and couldn't take my time 😅It seems to be effective against skin diseases, etc., so if you don't have a major heart disease, you might enjoy it⁉️

I saw Shinmoesou's emerald green hot springs in a hot springs magazine someday and wanted to visit it once, and my wish came true. There are some places along the road that are so narrow that you might be worried about what would happen if an oncoming car came, but once you pass that point, you'll see a red roof. There isn't much parking, so if a lot of day-trippers come to the hot springs, it might be a problem.I couldn't take pictures of the bathtub because photography was prohibited, but it was better than I imagined. Some of the baths are mixed, so women should be careful. The concentration is so thick that you can even see hot springs, giving the impression that it is similar to Kusatsu Onsen. The smell of sulfur was faint, but I was very impressed. You can stay overnight here, so I'd like to stay overnight next time.

THE sulfur spring. There are other places where you can bathe in sulfur springs, but Shinmoesou is one of the best. You won't be able to stay long if you stop by to take a bath, but it's definitely worth a visit.

A national lodging house at the foot of Mt. Kirishima. You can also enjoy hot springs on a day trip.A slightly bluish, cloudy sulfur spring. There are many hot springs in the area, but this one seems to be particularly rich in sulfur.Strong smell and appearance. The hot water is white and cloudy, but depending on the lighting, it takes on a bluish tinge, which is interesting. When you enter, your body will gradually become warm. You will want to stay in the bath for a long time, but there is a warning not to take a long bath.By the way, there is also a mixed bath. Women can borrow bath towels and use them.I would like to use it for a stay next time.***I used it for a new stay.It has been renovated and is very clean throughout. The rooms were equipped with air conditioning and were comfortable to spend time in.The rice was rich in variety, each dish was carefully crafted, and was very delicious. The cold steamed egg custard for dinner, rainbow trout sashimi, pork stew in tomato, pudding for dessert, and miso soup for breakfast were impressive. The dishes are also well thought out, and together with the presentation, they are pleasing to the eye.If you stay overnight, you can also use the indoor bath. Two rooms have bathtubs that look like hollowed out logs, and two have regular bathtubs.Available for private use. It's all flowing. The quality of the hot water is of course high, as is the quality of the food, and considering all the amenities, 15,550 yen per night is way too cheap.

The quality of the hot springs is outstanding. The customer service is also polite and wonderful. It is a famous hot spring that you should definitely visit and experience for yourself rather than hearing people talk about it.

I visited a few years ago, but I couldn't take a bath because it was temporarily closed, so I went back. It is a hydrogen sulfide type simple sulfur spring, and there are time limits for bathing. At first I thought it was just a shallow restriction on crowding, but it turned out to be a time restriction to prevent hydrogen sulfide poisoning. I see, it makes sense. The quality of the hot springs is so good that it makes you want to take a long bath, but due to the time limit and the heat of the water, we were able to enjoy the highest quality hot springs for a reasonable amount of time.

As for the hot springs, the quality of the spring water is cloudy and good, but since the windows are left open there are a lot of ``flies''...and if you let your guard down, you'll get bitten.I was bitten in three places in the blink of an eye, and even now, a month later, the scars remain and are still itchy. It would be nice if there was a screen door or other measures, but the bath can be dangerous in winter, so please be careful.I will never go again.

There's a smell of sulfur. The rock surface from the source is pale yellow. The water is light blue with lots of white flowers dancing in it✨I get stiff with hot water✨Separate indoor baths for men and women and mixed outdoor baths. The appropriate age enhances the hot spring atmosphere.Girls are welcome to wrap themselves in rental bath towels, so be sure to try the open-air bath ✨It's okay because it's a deep bath.P.S. This area is offline. It's safer to just check the direction of your next destination.

At the foot of Mt. Shinmoedake, active activity continues. It's in an inconvenient location, requiring a car, but the hot water is excellent. Top class I've ever experienced. I used it for a day trip.Enjoy the retro atmosphere of this open-air bath in the countryside from the Showa era.

Thank you for taking care of me at a day trip hot spring. It is a rich milky white hot spring. You can experience the power of Kagoshima's hot springs. The secluded atmosphere is also nice. I have visited over 600 hot springs, and I can confidently recommend this famous and secret hot spring.
