It was such a good accommodation that I wanted to visit Yakushima again because of my memories of staying at this accommodation.I was worried because most of the accommodations nearby had shared toilets as well as bathrooms, but I chose this because there was a toilet attached to the room. Since it was used during the off-season, there was no major difficulty in using the communal shower room.We stayed for two nights on a weekday, and almost all the food on the table was a Yakushima specialty. Enjoying dinner while watching the sun set was a truly great experience.The day before entering the island, heavy rain caused a landslide and many trekking courses were closed, but the owner knew the entire area in great detail and recommended other courses and bus tours. Thanks to this, although it was significantly different from what we had planned, we were able to have a fruitful trip. I was able to. We only talked about the departure time during the travel course consultation, but it was also very nice that they remembered the departure time each time and checked it again by knocking about 20 minutes in advance.The turtles' eggs were able to move along with their owners, so there was a sense of stability when returning to the accommodation.Before checking out, I purchased resin accessories with sand and seashells from Yakushima Beach that the owner and his wife had made themselves. I still carry it with me like a talisman^^

Yakushima travel gourmet food.Inakahama-san is located along the beach, 40 minutes by car from Yakushima Airport.For dinner, we are proud of our delicious menu that uses only local ingredients.Mainly fried flying fish, sashimi, turtle hands, simmered dishes, tofu, etc.Soft-fleshed flying fish that are caught on the ground are delicious.Yakushima's turtle hands are large and have a great seaside flavor and crunchy texture!The simmered dishes made with local vegetables have a gentle flavor that is irresistible.The general will take you on a sea turtle tour starting at 5am.On this day, we had good timing to watch the sea turtle hatching.You will be moved by the sight of baby sea turtles heading towards the strong waves.Depending on the season, it was a reasonable accommodation at ¥8,000 to ¥12,000 per person per night.

It is located in Yakushima, Kagoshima Prefecture. It is located right in front of Inakahama Beach in Nagata, which is famous for sea turtle spawning. To protect the sea turtles, entry is prohibited from 7:30 pm to 5:00 pm. This inn will take you to see the morning turtles from 5am. You can't see it every day, but if you're lucky you can see it up close like in the photo. The room is a Japanese-style room, about 9 tatami mats in size. It can accommodate 4 futons, so it's perfect for a family of 4. The room has an air conditioner, toilet and washroom. The bath is shared, but you can use it privately with a key. You can also share the refrigerator. There is no TV or pajamas in the room. Wi-Fi is available. Two meals are included, and you can enjoy local specialties and special products. It was delicious. A wonderful location surrounded by quiet nature. You can relax and be healed. You need a rental car. My family and I stayed here for 2 nights as a base for sightseeing in Yakushima. You can pay by cash, but if you make a reservation through Rakuten Travel, you can pay by card! The owner's husband loves sea turtles and is a chatty and friendly person, so I enjoyed the experience.

From your room, you can see Inakahama right in front of you. At night, the sound of waves is a lullaby. Depending on the timing, you can even see the sunset during dinner time. The host of the inn will take you to see spawning and hatchlings during sea turtle season!

I stayed here to see sea turtles. They offer free sea turtle tours starting at 5:00. Even if you can't find it as an amateur, the owner of the inn will find it for you. It is moving to see a small baby turtle desperately trying to return to the sea.This inn is perfect for those looking for sea turtles, starry skies, and tranquility, but not for those looking for a lot of fun.

The owner of the guesthouse will take you on a sea turtle walk and conservation tour to the beach in front of you starting at 5am.
