This is a business hotel that feels like a guesthouse at a reasonable price.I can't find anything particularly bad about the room.The water that came out of the faucets in the bathroom and shower had a very strong smell, so if you are worried about brushing your teeth, you should bring mineral water with you.

The cheapest hotel in Shibushi. However, if you choose the cheapest plan, you will be in a renovated private house, which is almost the same as a guest house.

I stayed for only one night. It was nice. The clerk dude was super nice, we talked for quite awhile and I wish my Japanese was better because he was typical Kagoshima cool. He even straight up told me I was fat (I am). I told him I changed my plans because I couldn't find lodging in the next town I wanted to visit and he, not hiding his disappointment with me, told me I should just go because things would work out. I'll remember that for next summer and be brave. He took the time to make sure my bicycle was safe for the night, I slept well. 2023

An old business hotel. Rather, it feels like a long-term accommodation for construction companies and port personnel. I only stayed for one night, so I don't know if it would be a long-term stay, but the service was courteous. Facilities such as bath and toilet are separate from the room.

Stayed in the main building. When I explained that I had arrived a little early, the owner welcomed me warmly. The ease of access may be said to be unique to this class of accommodation. In addition, we received careful responses to emails in advance, and there were no problems with the service.The inside was built in a renovated private house, so it felt more like returning to my own room at my parents' house than a ``business hotel,'' and I felt strangely comfortable. There is also an annex nearby, which is still a private house.The cleanliness of the bedroom is OK, but there are no nightwear and the coin laundry is outside. The toilet near the entrance does not have a door, so those who value hygiene should be careful. (There is a sliding door between the bedroom and the entrance to the room.)Overall, it feels more like a "minshuku" than a "business hotel", and is aimed at people who are looking for a relaxed atmosphere.Personally, I think "Minshuku Shibushi Bay" would be a better fit than "Business Hotel Shibushi Bay."
