It's a peaceful countryside hot spring town, and the hot springs are quite hot, probably because they come from a source. It's a sulfur-based hot spring, so if you don't like odors, you might want to stay away from it.It's not that big inside. There are no stalls. It's only open during the day every Saturday, but there's a yakitori restaurant called Sechan right in front of you. You can eat pork and other dishes for 300 yen, so it can be said that the cost performance is quite high. It's good in winter. On this day, it was being renovated so that you could enter the annex.

The 92-year-old landlady will welcome you.I'm a little hard of hearing, so it would be helpful if you could speak a little louder.I was there for about a month for work, but there are no shops around, so I recommend shopping at a supermarket or convenience store.Currently, we do not provide cooking, but there are facilities where you can cook your own meals, so I think you should be fine as long as you have the seasonings and ingredients. The bath is a very pleasant hot spring♨️

An inn where you can also enjoy hot spring therapy at Kawauchi Takajo Onsen. We have a variety of equipment for hot spring therapy. Your room may have running water or a shared kitchen.Service is minimal but courteous. The room and other facilities were clean.I had a very comfortable time.

Although it seems like an old inn, the rooms, hallways, and indoor baths were all clean and comfortable. The quality of the spring water is very soft and pleasant.

Satsuma Takajo Onsen was once the owner of a self-catering inn in Tohoku, and was also called the source of self-catering inns. Now that Futabaya and Umeya have changed their focus to day-trip bathing (no overnight stays) after the coronavirus pandemic, this is an inn that maintains its solitude. We were given a room right in front of the cooking room. For the average person, this might be a question, but having a sink in the room is unique to a full-fledged self-catering accommodation (many accommodations do not even allow self-catering), and it is extremely convenient. If you cook for yourself, you probably know that you can't leave dishes piled up after eating in the communal kitchen for a long time, but if you're in your own room, that's fine. For now, just leave it in the sink and wash it when you feel like it.The rice cooker and refrigerator are new, and the pot is also new and has excellent heat retention. The indoor bath is probably the largest in Satsuma Takajo Onsen. It's divided into two sections, so you can add hot or lukewarm water depending on your preference. However, in order to fully enjoy the quality of the hot springs at Satsuma Takajo Onsen, it is better to stay in a small space (the bath loses its creamy feel when it oxidizes), so if you are looking for the hot water itself, we recommend that you compare it with other inns. At night, take a bath at Takeya's indoor and outdoor baths (Oiwaburo), and take a morning bath at Umeya and Yamaomomo, which accept outpatient baths from 6:00 a.m. The best part of this hot spring town is being able to compare the baths at different hotels.

Second time and 2 nights! It's comfortable.I love this inn!I noticed this time! Here hot spring ♨️Does the quality of hot water seem to be different in the morning and at night? It seems no different? In the morning, the hot water doesn't have much of a taste, but at night it seems to thicken and become softer. I feel like that?Calm down. Auntie is kind.Grill shishamo in the communal kitchen, make various things, and drink alone in your room! delicious!Indoor bath! Incredibly comfortable! Just the right size and depth! Is the water temperature 41 to 42 degrees? It feels hot when you first enter, but once it calms down, it's super comfortable! There is no shower or running water, so I sit on the edge of the bathtub and wash my body while luxuriating in the hot spring water! It's already the best♪You can also use the washing machine for free! There is no dryer! At the coin laundry in town after checking out!Apparently there is also a drying area if you stay for several nights!

It's a hot spring inn, so you'll need to bring your own food and drinks, but it's a perfect place for people who want to relax. Without thinking about anything, I drank sweet potato shochu, soaked in a hot spring, and slept soundly. I was able to get rid of all the fatigue I had built up☺
